I just got off a really long hiatus, and I'm trying to figure out how the extra features in forum groups work. I had heard that the extra functionality added to forum groups was basically replacing the cult system, and I wanted to start an origami club of sorts. Basically, it'd be an origami forum kind of like /po/ without all the endless shitposting, and would have a system whereby members could complete weekly origami to earn points to spend in the club shop.

So here are my main two quandaries:

  1. What's the deal with the group bank? Can any group member deposit or withdraw money, or just admins? What do you do with that group bank balance?
  2. Is there any way to add items to a group vault? If so, can items be added to or removed from the group vault by any group member, or just admins? Is there a limit to how many items can go into the group vault?

Any help with these questions would be appreciated!
(If there's no group vault, I guess I could just have the club shop be a gallery and have people buy from it by sMail, like I was planning originally.)

  1. Any group member can add to the funds, only admins can remove sP from it. What you do with it is up to you or can be agreed upon by the group. If you don't need funds, you could ask for people not to donate.

But some groups that are created during site events will use the sP to help the group with certain stages of the event. For example, if one of the tasks is donating certain items, the admins may distribute the group funds to people so they can buy up more items.

  1. I think there was supposed to be like a shared items kind of thing with forum groups, but I honestly have no idea if it works anymore or how to add items to it. For now, the gallery idea would probably be the best for like a group shop if you wanted.
