About Our Group and Features

• Choose from Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff for your Hogwarts house!
• Earn House Points by partaking in classes, HA challenges, activities, and plots! (Yes, there will be plots.)
• Interact with the Hogwarts staff.
• Chat with other members in the Great Hall (whether it be about Harry Potter or not).
• Roleplay with other students in different scenarios in our roleplay forums.
• Each house has its own private forum group as well so you chat with others from your house, motivate each other, and work together on group activities!
• Classes will be posted a minimum of once a week.
• The house with the most points at the end of term wins the House Cup (and prizes)!
• Terms generally last about 3 months.
• We are not strict about how active you are in the group! However, if you put in no effort, you will not receive any prizes.
• Donations are always welcome in the form of sP donated to our forum group bank or items sent to to be used as prizes.
• We also have a Group Exclusive CW (Harry Potter related) with more to come!

Hi! I keep seeing this group around (probably in your forum signature) and I've finally joined. How do I pick a house? The link to do so from the last thread took me to a very broken looking thread. I'm not sure why. None of the sCode appears to work, I can't seen anyone's HA, but I can post on it...not sure if I should though! (Can't see any dates.) When I go through The Great Hall to the thread there, the same issue happens. Help please!

I'm not sure why the sCode and HAs aren't working. That is weird! Let me know if this one works for you.

It appears the same. I guess I should file a ticket, though I don't know how to replicate it for the UA that responds. Do I need to be approved into the group maybe?

The group is open membership, so once you select "Join", you're in. No approval necessary.

FUN FACT: I never read a single Harry Potter book and only seen a three of the movies when I first joined this group. Needless to say, my knowledge of the world was very limited, but I quickly learned :D And then a nerd friend in this group sorta made me catch up with the books and movies. And this was recently. Like 2016.

I was living a blissful, oblivious life of a Muggle tho. Now I'm sad no owl visited. Actually, one did stare at me for a really long time when I was a preteen but it flew away when I tried mimicking the sound they were making. I think I offended them.

I just joined Wizarding too (hello!) and I'm having the same issues is having with the forums. I'll file a ticket if hasn't already, but I felt I should let you know it isn't just them.

Which house are you in? The bulletin board topic in your private forum should be exactly what you're looking for. I'm sure you can ping your prefects there and ask them about anything. c:

Are we going to reopen the Student Roster any time soon? I know there were issues going on but was just curious when I can post my new OC in there for RP purposes.

Hi! Like poppet said, there is usually a bulletin board in the individual house groups. If you haven't been added to your house group yet, I am so sorry! We are still experiencing the bug that doesn't allow us to add users. If it doesn't get resolved soon, I am planning on changing the permissions to "Admin Approval" so we can get you guys in. There is also a small guide on the thread to post what house your in, which I believe is linked in the first post of this thread.

We are very close to getting a resolution for special abilities. I expect within the next week or so we should be getting everything back up and running.
