I just tried to add Snowtapult Pummel Maze Card from the user shop search page after I purchased and I got a red This is Not a Card! bar. I also tried to add Recycle Beast Trading Card from the recycle shop purchase page and I got the same notice.

They added from inventory just fine.

EDIT: add to my collection

I've got the same problem with the Recycle Beast Card and the Luminaire Card ... and another two though I forgot which o.o

This happened with the "Move to Collection"-button on the User Shop Search page, in the NPC shop and the Recycle Shop, but it works both with the Move To Collection function in the quickstock of my user shop and via inventory.

Strange!

The problem is that you probably remove it from your WL first.

Take it off your WL, buy it and then it should add fine

Like Assea said, I get the 'This is not a ____' error when I click the 'Add to collection' button after removing the item from my wishlist. Clicking the button again after the error results in a successful move.

Clicking 'Add to Collection' before removing from my WL doesn't give me an error, though.

Same with the plushies and beanbags when clicking "add to collection" after buying them -_-
