I adopted Sakuretsu recently and she is an older pet. I'm not into Anime and wondered if I could just change her name completely?

Ouch that is painful. Hmm I guess I'll just have to work on her look and stats for now and worry about her name later.

Does renaming reset the creation date of the pet?

Everything unique to that pet is actually tied to the pet ID - not the name - so changing the pet's name will only change the name. In other words, it will not change the creation date, adoption date, color, species, battle stats, or gender.

When and if you decide to change your pet's name you can go to the "Your Pets" page and click on the drop-down menu for that pet. One of the options will be "Change Name"... Click on that and you will be on the page to change that pet's name.

Okay thanks. I have another pet that I am thinking of changing also but neither are totally urgent. I did get myself some CSC in the new year but I still have to buy an Angelic Potion and that will wipe out a good chunk of what I have left.

Autotrain is just too easy and tempting ........
