Google Chrome OS and Browser

I open up Filters, type in anything in the Name Search box, and it does not matter. No results are found. It isn't waiting for a carriage return, and it doesn't seem to matter how long I let the character string sit there. Search By, Show All, CW control,Layers etc, all of these are all set to show the most items possible

I find this happening too. But it will find the item if I switch to all subeta items, or if I keep it to my wardrobe, it will find stuff if I manage to figure out which layer it wants. Sometimes it also seems to get "stuck" in a drawer, that even if I switch my selection to all drawers, its only looking in the last drawer I had selected.

it only seems to work about half the time for me, but my problem is a little different. at first it was working very well and very fast (sometimes a little too fast; it would give me results before i could finish typing the word i actually wanted to search!) but now it's very hit or miss. sometimes i will type a word and the items will sort of 'flicker' to the results for 0.01 seconds before deciding "you know what nevermind" and going back to showing all items like i didn't search anything at all. i will often have to try several times before the search actually gives me my results.

I'm having a similar issue that I posted about a couple days ago but didn't get a response about...searching doesn't bring up almost any of the items in my wardrobe and they don't show in the app, but they show when i organize my wardrobe items.

Edit: So right after posting this I was able to solve my problem from switching the drawer search to "none" and then back to "all", even though "all" was selected before this brings up my items.

Yep, still showing results for a nanosecond before going back to all items.

I am no longer having no response.

I'm having the search-before-typing-is-finished errors others are talking about and I'm having the search results are briefly there then covered over problem. Changing one or two of the dropdown parameters and trying again usually fixes both of these...for one search.

I know this isn't EXACTLY the problem, but I'm sure it's related so I'm going to add it here.

If you search for something, based on the letters you type, you'll have differing results.

For example, if I was looking for something with the word PEACH in it, I can get three different results. I can type in PEACH (with a space afterwards), and it will either show nothing, like the others above, or it will show only the items that have an actual space after the word peach. (For example, if the name was PEACH locks, it would show. But if the name was lovely PEACH, it would not, since there is no space in the second example.)

I've also found that if I type just PEAC, and leave off the H, the results are more accurate and, as far as I can tell, find everything with the name peach in it.

It seems a lot worse when I search three-letter terms, like 'hat' or 'bow'. Normally it takes maybe two or three tries to get the results, but with three-letter words it can take six or seven. Maybe more.

Same here, also most bad with short words.

I find if I click on page 2 and then back to page one, it will then work properly -- usually. This is true even if only one item matches my search. Hope it helps!

I live in MN, and whatever you've heard... It's much worse.

Similar problems here too, especially with searching for shorter words.

I also find that it happens more when I type really fast. If I go more slowly and type one letter at a time with a bit of a pause in between, it will show the proper results and stick with that (usually, sometimes it still doesn't work at first).

Hey guys! Is this still an ongoing issue? Do the suggestions below seem to help?

Still having this problem. It's been going on so long now I've gotten used to it and had to think twice.

I don't think speed matters on the shorter word error, it matters if the three letter combo is one that the search function absolutely adores beyond all reason. The reason I ascribe affinity here even though it sounds irrational, is that it doesn't matter how many proper returns you get or how many wrong returns you get, it only is depended on those tlcs. Once I realize this I have a screw-up like this my workaround is to find a different section of the word or words I am looking for to find a string that doesn't have a tlc that will choke the search function.

Changing page doesn't work with my chromebox Chrome OS + Chrome Browser.

Still having the problem. The only solution I've found is to run my search and then delete the last letter and the results tend to come back. Its like it starts searching before I finish typing and as I add letters it gets confused or something.

My wardrobe will not show any items and this is getting very frustrating as I would love to change my HA- obviously.
