I'm currently zapping Troop in hope of inspiration. What species/color comes to mind for him? I'm thinking a military theme would be appropriate.

for a military theme, the first thing that comes to mind is absolutely the experiment 357.

of course, depending on what sort of character you would like to make him, something else might be better.

A group of lemurs is often known as a troop, so a Manchu is the first pet that came to mind for me.
