I love that the new game, 2048 is now being offered as an option for Major Drills. What I don't love is that it's such a high score that he's asking us to get.

During the site event it took me somewhere between 3-6 hours to get the required 512 score. Major Drills is giving us one hour to get it, I just can't do it. Maybe it's me, but I think it's too high of a score. How about 256? I think that's tough enough, but yet still obtainable during that one hour time limit.

i think they're both options? i just finished my drills quests and one of them was reach 256 in 2048.

Oh super!! I'm glad there is a lower score version for his quest. I guess I just didn't get the lower score quest from him. I've been trying to reach that higher score once again, and been trying to play that game for the last 40 minutes without getting near the 512. I really didn't want to have to skip playing that game anytime I see it on his quests. I still enjoy playing it, despite not being so skilled with it.

np! i know a lot of people had trouble with 2048 during the plot, so hopefully the lower score is the more common quest. (and hopefully 1024 isn't an option, ;>> i really like the game, but i don't have /that/ much patience, haha.)

Took me about 5 minutes to get to 512 just now and that's with a messed up game because I tried to go too quickly. I think it's more than fair (especially if there is a 256 quest too) It may just take some practice, but once you know how to do it, it's really not too difficult =)

I can get to 512 in less than 5 minutes. On the other hand, I don't have the slightest idea how to harpoon leviathans or whatever it is, and I can never win required amount in Slots. I don't think tho that's the reason to get rid of those tasks. Major is like normal quests, we're not meant to be able to do every single one.

I had two quests earlier asking for a score of 128, so it's interesting that it goes higher. I suppose it's not too different from him asking for a range of scores from spectrail, or when he asks you to get an unreasonable amount of sp from the slots.

I'm disappointed since I can't seem to get higher than 256 but I don't think that's any reason to remove it from his quests. It's not really an unreasonable amount, I just suck ass at the game and would rather not play it in the first place.

He's asked me to get scores of 128, 256 and 512 so it varies from quest to quest.

I don't think this is unreasonable, being that different games are varying degrees of difficulty for various users depending on their skillset, certainly I personally find the Spectrail score range nearly impossible to get.

Not all major drills quests are easy. It takes me waaay longer to get to 19 of those Leviathan things vs the less than 5 minutes it takes to get to 512

I found it's been a bit hit and miss whether Drills actually recognises that I've achieved the requested score. The 2048 game came up on a few of my Drills quests today. With the first, I achieved the score and refreshed Drills, but it didn't recognise it. I played another game, got the desired score, and then Drills seemed to recognise it. However for any subsequent 2048 games I played, Drills just didn't seem to recognise the score so I had to abandon the request. Is it slow for anyone else or is it something I'm not doing correctly? I play until I can't get any further with it.

Are you clicking the Send Score button under the game board?

Hm...I know I definitely did a couple of the times (out of which, only one actually got recognised by Drills but not the other). I was clicking on everything to try and make the score register. Not too sure about the final few attempts though, I was half asleep all day yesterday so may have overlooked it - doh!! Thanks <3
