Basics
THE WHO:

Narrator
(2) Death Eaters
(1) Nurse
(1) Auror
Citizens
** This is just the standard. The numbers can vary depending on the number of players.
ROLES:
Narrator- The Narrator is the most important person! They are responsible for the whole game. They are the boss. What they say goes. They are not part of the game, however. They cannot vote. They cannot sway members in either way. They cannot give away anyone's position. Pen and paper are a good idea to keep by you.

Death Eaters- Death Eaters are the "bad guys" obviously. They will be picking who gets Avada Kedavra'ed (AK). They must vote. They must participate in the discussion. They are required to neomail the narrator each round with their target. Depending on the number of Death Eaters per game, they must decide among themselves who will the the one owling the narrator. Only one Death Eater should be owling the narrator through out the whole game

Nurse- The Nurse is pretty self explanatory. The nurse will pick someone each round to heal, by owling the narrator. They must vote and participate in discussion.

Auror- The Auror will act as a detective. They will owl the narrator each round with whom they think the D.E. is. The narrator will ONLY respond to the Auror. They Narrator will tell the Auror yes or no, depending if they're correct.

Gameplay
STEP 1: POSITION ASSIGNING

The narrator will owl each player at random with their position:

DEATH EATER
PLAYER: DEATH EATER
You and ______ are Death Eaters. You may only conspire with them! Neomail each other to figure out the Head Death Eater that will report back to me with your first victim.

NURSE
PLAYER: NURSE
You are a citizen, but you are also the Nurse! Report back to me with who you want to save. Don't trust anyone.

AUROR
PLAYER: AUROR
You are a citizen, but you are also the Auror! Report back to me with who you would like to investigate. Don't trust anyone.

CITIZEN
PLAYER: CITIZEN
You are a citizen. Be very careful about who you vote for, and don't trust anyone.
STEP 2: NIGHT

The Narrator will give their introduction. Example:

The night was cold, and the air was thick. Something in the town of Godric's Hollow has seemed a little off recently..

Before the night is over...

Death Eaters will discuss among themselves about who they would like to Avada Kedavra. The Head Death Eater then will owl the Narrator with whom they want to Avada Kedavra. ONLY the head death eater will owl the Narrator. To make the game flow a little better and quicker put the following in the title of a owl:

Avada Kedavra: NAME OF VICTIM
The content of the owl can be whatever, since they will not open the owl. The Narrator will not respond.

The nurse will owl the Narrator with who they would like to heal.
Heal: NAME
The content of the owl can be whatever, since they will not open the owl. The Narrator will not respond.

The Auror will owl the Narrator with who they would like to investigate.
Investigate: NAME
The content of the owl can be whatever. But the Narrator will respond to the owl with a YES or NO, depending on if the person they choose to investigate is a Death Eater or not. Aurors can only guess ONE Death Eater each night.

ALL owls must be sent by the time given by the Narrator!
STEP 3: DAY

The Narrator will post something along the lines of this:

In the black of the night, (NAME OF PERSON AK'd) was Avada Kedavra'ed in their sleep last night! Unfortunately the nurse was not able to save them, as they were focused on fixing up (NAME OF PERSON HEALED) from a Quidditch accident from the day before.

Vote/Day Ends @ 6:30

At this point, one person will have been AKed. Oh no! In the time the Narrator gives you, you must discuss with everyone who you think the Death Eaters are. This is the tricky part.. But more on that later. But at the time given, you MUST cast your vote, whether you are sure of it or not. Votes should be posted like this:

VOTE: NAME

With that being the ONLY thing in that post. You can chat until the Narrator posts with something like this:

Name: ( votes)
Name: (# of votes)
-and so on-

(NAME OF PERSON WITH MOST VOTES) Has been sent to Azkaban!

Night ends @ 6:45

Once you have been sent to Azkaban, you are no longer part of the game! Do not reveal who you are. You cannot vote, do not collect $200. (humor)

Repeat steps 2 & 3.
STEP 4: GAME OVER

The game is over when either all the Death Eaters are sent to Azkaban OR when there are more Death Eaters than citizens. At the end of the game, the narrator may post something like this if the Citizens win:
The town is safe once again! All the Death Eaters have been sent to Azkaban!
Or if the Death Eaters win:
Oh man, it looks like the Death Eaters have taken over the town of Godric's Hollow. Grab your children and get out of here! At the end of the game, the narrator can also reveal who everyone was during the game!

TIPS:
These are just tips, not rules set in stone!

Tips for Narrator-
You can change CITIZENS to MUGGLES if you want (:
Make your stories as elaborate as you want, as long or short as you want. They can be in any setting, at any time.
Ten minute deadline during the night, and 15-20 minute deadline during the day is a good time frame for each round. (Maybe less during the day once you have fewer players left.)
I highly recommend writing everything down with pen and paper, to more easily keep track of everything. Use lists, charts, whatever works for you!

Tips for Death Eaters-
Do not accuse someone too soon. It will make it seem like you are the Death Eater. (trust me)
Do not reveal that you are the Death Eater.. for obvious reasons..
Don't even trust your fellow Death Eater(s). They will easily turn on you to save themselves!

Tips for Aurors-
You can tell people you are the Auror, but it may not be in your best interest for two reasons. One: it will make you an target for Death Eaters, and two: People may not believe you, and think you are fooling them, and then send you to Azkaban.
If you know who the Death Eater(s) is, your job is to covince everyone that, that person IS the Death Eater. Good luck with that though! (;

Tips for Nurse-
You can save yourself. But if you do it too often, people will notice, and the Death Eaters are more like to AK you.
You may want to pick the people you heal very carefully and strategically. Heal people who you think the Death Eaters are going to go after. For example, if you think one is TOM, and BECKY is accusing TOM, Becky might be a good person to save cause the Death Eaters might try and AK Becky for being on to them.

Tips for Everyone-
Seriously do not trust anyone. Lying, is allowed. Deceiving is allowed. Basically everything goes. (Though please do not cheat by telling others who you are with screenshots. The game is no fun this way)
Pay very close attention to everyone. Little details are what matters.
If you see someone jumping on each bandwagon, they are possibly a Death Eater trying to avert the attention from themselves by going with whatever anyone says.

• People WILL use tactics opposite of what I am telling you. -Basically, just don't trust anyone! Be have fun!

  What happens if the nurse is sent to Azkaban
  If the nurse is sent to askaban (or AKed) then they can no longer heal people for the remainder of the game.

How long is each round?
The ideal time frame for each round will be 30 minutes. Though the rounds may be shorter as more people get sent to Azkaban or AKed.

What's the point of the narrator?
The narrator controls the whole game. They are responsible for keeping everything running smoothly, and to create the story.
