Anything over 5m that I need to update manually always gets undercut by 500k+ in most cases. I use autopricer for anything else. And honestly, that is not really true. Some people will buy items that just hit the amount they're looking to spend and will watch items on the market place to drop. (This is obviously more in reference to higher priced items)

Why do people get so uppity about this shit LOL just wait for the other shit to sell then and stop crying about it. People make these threads so often and no one cares. If anything, this probably instigates people to do it more often.

I'm more than willing to price something I need to sell asap by 500k to a 1mil lower, sometimes even more depending on how much the item is and if it's hard to sell or not. I get my money mostly from quests and selling those rewards - to me it doesn't matter if one mage amulet is worth 350k and the other is 310k (just for example), I'll just price them all at 300k and get a nice, easy sale and be able to price my items that much quicker.

But if I have an item that's been sitting at 30mil and it's hard to sell, it's not doing me any good. It's not making me money. But if I can sell it for 25mil, or 20mil, I'm happy. If anyone is bothered by my prices, they're more than welcome to buy it, sit on it, and sell it for whatever price they deem it be worth. I just want my money. shrugs

It does help sell things sooner though?? People have been doing this for years, and will continue. There's no official rules about doing so, so really it is 100% ok! =))))

Have you ever heard of artificial inflation? Wait til you see it 8) Don't autoprice folks. It's a lil satan.

I mean, I understand the frustration. I think on some level, most people do. After all, who likes to lose money? But after a while, people cut their losses and accept that that item just isn't a big seller and won't be selling for 10 mil. In fact, it may not even be worth that. So they lower the price until somebody perceives the item to be worth the value and pay for it. Supply and demand and all that.

This is the risk you take when you restock hyper-inflated items from the main shops (and let's be honest, most are in fact super inflated). In normal circumstances, a "really common" book isn't worth 50k+. However, some situations call for a greater demand in a select few items (say, bonus quests or other item drives), resulting in a greater demand and thus a greater opportunity for profit. And when an item experiences this artificial demand, profits are certainly to be had. But you can't get too greedy, because the demand will very likely decrease. And when it does, the supply from everyone trying to take advantage of the sudden demand will stay relatively the same, resulting in many people trying to lower the price to get rid of their surplus.

Economics, hell yeah.

Pinging everyone cus I was ranting. Honestly, on any normal day this didn't bother me, and in fact it's completely understandable like everyone else said. I was having a reaaaaalllly bad day, and took it out on Subeta. Angry fog kicked in and I of course, like an idiot, posted about it. Now I look like the biggest jerk ever :1 Sorry. Time to just retire from Subeta and never come back again because of the embarrassment. No one will ever like me now.

Like said, I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone posts things or says things they don't mean, especially in the heat of the moment. Most people forget these type of things quickly anyway. :>

People on here are pretty great for the most part. Definitely one of the better parts of the internet population haha. I wouldn't judge, I've definitely had my fair share of rage-offs. All it takes is the one thing before the cup is overflowing and anger takes over Q__Q
