Mainly looking for a style that hugs close to the body, but also drapes nicely. (The Shrine Maden skirt is the best example) I'm open to artist interpretation as long as the form is flattering. Offering $$$.

This is actually something I've been thinking about doing for a few months now, so I say absolutely yes please. :D I'd slot on at least bases 1-3 guaranteed.

[edit] If you want an idea for how to get it approved, I was debating on some kind of finger paint gone awry overlay to avoid line art and shading issues.

Do you mind me asking if you plan on doing the two hands on a single CW or splitting them into two so people can choose if they want only one or both hands to layer over the top of other wearables (pending you move forward with the idea)?

i'd be SUPER interested in this; honestly even something like kind of a full sleeve?? similar to the tights that did for instant-fade tights; if staff didn't gel with the idea of just a phantom skin glove without lines and such. but tbh i'd be really hopeful that they'd be willing to accept it, especially with a lot of the other layering-convenience items we've had get thru the queue lately!

I have multipl ideas for the workings of the actual wearable, I think it would come down to what the staff would accept. It would be a full, or half sleeve depending on what would work best, I assume more than a "glove" would be needed to cover most things, so it would be fairly long.

I forgot about the nude tights, but that's also a great solution. My other two ideas were to make it break apart at the top, like the face makeup did, that way if layered on a darker or lighter base it could also be used to make interesting color combos/tattoos etc.

The other idea is to make it more of like an actual "glove" where the item is skin based at the bottom, and then fades up with a transition more like the does at the top of the skirt.

At the moment I would like to work on the foreground arm, in the future, I could add the back, however it would depend on interest and popularity of the item as there are already lots of recolor options for one alone! I feel like that's a good place to start since it sits center stage when it's covered up by something.

I am open to opinions, so please don't hesitate to let me know what you think. If you know of an artist who might be interested, let me know too, I'm not against commissioning the whole item, I just probably can't afford a thousand base recolors on my own, so if I could do the CW, I would love to just commission the CI.

remind me, is base 20 the white? I would not be against doing an all white / all black version, depending on the item I feel like it could work well with tattoos to create a more defined "sleeve"

Looking forward to seeing how it comes out. :) As for the CI, I recommend Mesmer. All the artists will likely do the CI only for you if you prefer to work with someone else, but I believe Mesmer is currently available for new commissions and just did this exact same thing for me too. I believe she usually charges $5 for a CI, so it's very reasonable too.

I am extremely interested in this! My commissions are definitely open, like the lovely said (ahh ty for the recommendation!!!) My commission thread is over here: LINK And I offer full commissions (wear + item) or a split of either (just the wear / just the item) if a commissioner needs just one or the other! I'd be more than willing to also help you get this made in darker colors if the interest is not there, simply because I personally use the darker bases more often than not! (I'd be willing to provide free recolors for anything 6+ in the humanoid colors, and if you only commission me for part of the cw such as only the item image, I'm more than happy to also pay for my slot to help those colors as well!)

YAY!! OK, let me workshop this for a bit, see if i'm capable or patient enough to create the CW itself, and if I am, i'm absolutely in for you doing the CI. As someone who has only tried her hand at creating CW's once, I may need some feedback (because your CW's are seriously amazing). If not, i'm still up for you doing both(We can work out details once I know if I will need both or just the CI.) I honestly would only use like 1-3 bases but i'm completely open to doing however many in whatever base color as long as the interest is there. No problem! Just didn't want you to wind up putting time and effort in that may not be needed. ;) The basic idea is actually an old suggestion that's been kicking around on the back burner for ages, but always seems to crop up around masq what with all the dresses, lol.

I'm hoping whatever was hinted at covers all the skin types, because if it does that would honestly be a huge load of pressure off your back, because there are so many skins it's unbearable imagining trying to release for all of them x'D
