Okay so a couple of days ago - At least two days ago - I got a schematic and dropped 17mill on the Yunium Key. I set my Paralix to become Steamwork at the place on Atebus but now when I go back there, it says I need a schematic and a key to make a steamwork pet again.

My concern is this: Will I get a notification or something when my pet is completed? I'm sort of used to things showing a 'you have such and such time left until this is completed' thing somewhere on the page and I'm slightly concerned I just threw away 17mill on that Yunium key for nothing. Not that I can't afford another, I would just rather not have to buy another.

there is no 'in progress' message, so your pet could be in progress and you would not know one way or another. You will get and Event when it is completed

Since it is possible to create/convert more than one pet at a time, the page allows you to go through the whole process again even though you've got one in the works. Yun Enterprises may be a boutique company, but it can handle the workload somehow, mysteriously.

If you would like an 'in progress' button or another link added so that you can check in on it, then you can make a suggestion in Suggestions & Ideas

Pets that are being converted/created do not get lost, and the conversion cost/procedure hasn't every failed that I know of this is not an error that has happened ever that I have seen in Help & Questions. A UA will answer you if you file a Ticket in Help, but IMO you are better off waiting.

I was just confused, most things that take time have some sort of a progress countdown and I've never made a steamwork pet before so I thought I'd ask if it was normal ^^;

you can search for the pet name and it'll come up as a common pet owned by isaac, iirc. unfortunately there's no countdown, just a sidebar event when the three days are up.

oh, i didn't change an existing pet, i didn't realize it'd be different -- when i had KITT built, the shop npc was his owner for the three day period. either way, it ought to be steamwork within the next day or so if you started the process on the 30th.

Yeah I didn't realize I could do it without an existing pet ^^; thought it was like Coda Caves. So mine shows as owned by me

You'll get a notification when it's done. It usually takes about exactly 3 days to finish, so if it's only been 2 then you have some time to wait still.
