While there is still a few hours, over all, I felt it was a little underwhelming? Still nice to get free stuff, it is a big disappointing to know what everyone else was getting. I got restockables, elixirs, and melody items I already had.

I wasn't really hoping to get a certain thing, but yknow, something to sorta wow me, if that makes sense?

I have participated in nearly every give-away but I cannot remember a single item that stood out. I have no luck with chance stuff and this is no exception so my expectation has been below zero from the beginning anyways. But hey, it's free stuff after all so I won't complain.

Also, I at least got a few 5k+ items for my shop, the rest gets fragged and brings me more crystals~

The key is not to expect too much of it. XD I kept hoping year after year for specific items (old subeautique ones from when they were still a regular restockable shop, or items from the referral shop). And then I was disappointed when I didn't get any of them. This was the first year I didn't maniacally refresh every 5 minutes in the free shop, and just went when I remembered to go. I did get truckloads of melody items, like every year, but I got some nice subeautique ones as well. Not the ones I was hoping for, but still nice ones. :)

Free stuff is good stuff regardless of its value ... cuz it was free.

I haven't gotten any big ticket items from the free shop. But I've added a ton of items to my collections and wardrobe in the process, so I'm rather content. Besides, even if I'm not getting items that are on my WL, others are, so the price of those items are dropping atleast.

I didn't get anything that wowed me either. I was so jealous of all the items everyone else was getting. What did I get? A bunch of crap like shop items, Melody items and elixirs. -_- Also, I'm surprised the wait time hasn't been lowered.

I got a lot of great stuff at the beginning. Now it's mostly just Melody items, but I don't really mind. The books I can read, and the extra bird items I can put in my gallery.

Honestly, I've gotten TONS of great stuff this year. I'm sorry that the rng isn't working in your favor.

Like , I got really great items at first (I didn't hope for anything specific tho, so I was happily surprised to get anything of value) and then I kind of got disappointed when the items got cheaper and cheaper as the "sale" went on. If it was the other way around I'd be super happy right now.

Based on what I got, I assume (more) old Melody items were added to the shop later on, so my one improvement suggestion for next Free Shop sale is this: put the cheaper stuff in there first and add more expensive stuff in later.

All in all, free items are free items and I'm very thankful for everything I got (incl. a spectrum potion and retired Subq), even though I didn't manage to snatch any CS wears this year ^^

All in all, I received 404 items this year. I'd agree that the item spread this year was a bit of a letdown compared to previous years. Lots of RS'ables and Melody items. My problem isn't that the stuff isn't "good", it's that it became predicable - which, also, as the effect of messing with the global economy. Super rares have been massively deflated which is only going to hurt the questing algorithm, especially with the last round of all weekend special quests and this upcoming week of new year token quests.

Its really just down to random luck, which I hate a bit. But consistently doing it means you have better chances. Im more annoyed that yesterday evening for me the whole site wouldn't load so I missed out on the last few hours because I'll be damned if Im going to refresh repeatedly waiting for the site to come back up when theres nothing posted anywhere about it being down.
