Yay for successful Luminaire tree functions! Huzzah!

Ornament placement went so much faster, even using the same-ish clunky inerface.

It just occurred to me that this is the first time since stockings were discontinued that tree-opening for Luminaire went off with minimal hitches. There weren't folks impatiently waiting for the trees to open on their own or frantically shoving stuff under the tree even though 25 Dec came around already. The gifts opened promptly and correctly for me, and I didn't lose track of who sent what because they were kept together.

My only disappoint, and it was a small one, is not being able to see trees by hovering over HAs I had to go visit my friends' User Pages to see all their awesome decorations.

Have to admit that I was half dreading the tree gifts this year because I was one of those players affected by last year's glitch. It was lovely to have everything work without any problems.

I love the new system for this, though I also missed the hovers in forums. Still, since forum use is so much heavier during December, anything to nip lag in the bud is a good thing.
