I despise posting this on Christmas day and I'm really sorry, but My inner teenage self is exploding right now. I can't even.
Ah you just beat me to making the same topic.
I just saw the news breaking on Twitter, and with all the "Last Christmas" comments, I thought "Ohhh. Twitter's going and killing off celebs again..." Nope. 2016 claims another. :(
WHAT THE FUCK? I was listening to Wham! Last Christmas ... Dude. No. He made me addicted to Careless Whisper ... ;_____; Why 2016.
Just heard this on BBC late news. Beyond shocked. The fact that they are saying he passed peacefully seems to suggest it might be natural causes. We can hope. RIP George.
Club Tropicana holds special memories for me. I was 19 when it came out and it was playing when I met my future husband.

I just learned this a few minutes ago and was shocked.
David Bowie, Prince, Vanity, Glenn Frey and now George Michael. These guys are what I grew up with.
I was infatuated with WHAM! and remember how much my grandmother loved the song "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go".
Very very sad...
I just saw this half an hour ago, and I'm super sad now. I can't believe he's gone.
I knew this several minutes ago for a post on Facebook saying 'THE END - George Michael', and I was like: 'Jesus Christ! One of my favourite singers has passed on! :(' He was also one of my father's favourite music artists. Yesterday was indeed his last Xmas... very, very sad news. :'(
RIP George Michael. You'll be dearly missed.
You don't die naturally at 53, no you do not. This is awful. He was much too young. Jesus fuck this whole year. I am done. Just, no.
collecting This is so sad.. I've watched so many of his 80's interviews earlier, he was such a sweet man, so mature and so articulate even when he was just 23. I remember being 12 and listening to Make it big, i still have Faith and Listen Without Prejudige viniles, I feel like I lost a piece of my youth
I was born in the US in 1985, and my dad immigrated to the US from Taiwan on a student visa a year or so before. My brother was born in Taiwan in 1982; my dad immigrated in 1983-1984, right when WHAM! became popular in the US so, for my dad he associates George Michael with his first few years in the US. I still listen to Careless Whisper all the time and it's still one of my favorite songs from the 80s'. He'll be missed.
R.I.P. George Michael.
