Im sure this has been asked, but i couldnt find an answer anywhere. But what happens to the presents under the trees of users that dont open their trees this year? Will the be there for next year? Can they open the tree whenever they come back? What about people that have presents but no actual tree, do they have to make a tree to open them?
As memory serves, the trees are "opened" automatically, so everybody should receive all their gifts even if they don't actively do anything. As I recall there are a bunch of events and all the items go directly to inventories (mind you my memory is atrocious and I'm not positive, but I'm fairly certain that's how it was handled last year) :)
Oh, okay, i cant remember to be honest, i can barely remember something that happened last week let alone a year ago haha :D
I do believe it was a event thing like zelena said. I think you can officially open your tree and see what you got too but after a while they just open automatically.
O and thanks for the token, real sweet of you. Hope your doing a little better.
Ah okay, and your very welcome, i doing better, still sad but not like i felt before when i felt like i couldnt even function
Trees aren't opened automatically. My gifts given page has a lot of gifts listed that I actually gave out last year that didn't get picked up. They hang around until the person opens up their tree. c:
the events and automatically receiving gifts you're remembering from last year was actually an error based on the old stocking system (before we left gifts under trees, they were left in stockings and all items were automatically given to you on luminaire). how it's supposed to work nowadays is that trees become available to open on luminaire, but you have to click a link to actually receive your presents. and if someone misses them one year, the presents will still be there if they open their tree the following year.
