hi there, so i was thinking about getting another discount card, i already have the 20% one and wanted to get the 30% one. i was wondering if these cards work together and will give you 50% off, or if the 30% over rides the 20%...or however it works XD just didnt want to spend the SP if it was going to end up not really being worth having both. thanks!

Honestly I dobut 150m for a 30% card would be worth it either way. I can't imagine how many years it would take to make that back
I have a 30% card bought it about 8 years ago maybe but took a couple years off and this is where I am...Discount Card 7,829,661 sP Saved

I also have a 30% discount card. I've had it for many years.
"You have saved 12,704,123 sP using your discount card."
Totally not worth buying one.
Aha, I see what did, this number is in the User Dashboard. 301,033,338 sP Saved so apparently I have saved enough to 'buy another one' in the three years after paying it off. Maybe due to the new restocking system?
This would be after the Subeautique left the usual restocking shop system and All That Glitters starting to Vend. Both of these shops had high wholesale prices.
Anyway in case anyone's curious, I did some math yesterday. If you're buying items at 2500 sP (which is generous for a lot of shops), you're saving 750 sP. It would take 200,000 purchases to make back the cost of the discount card. Over six years, that's 90+ purchases per day.
Obviously it depends on how much you really restock, and where, but I think for most people it's probably not gonna be worth it. I have a 20% card, I can't remember when I bought it but I've had it for at least a couple of years and I've only saved 6.2m with it (vs. the ~26m that I paid for it)
My mistake about ATG. Subetalodge's vending guide agrees with The market for jewelry collapsed around the last time that Vending was 'reformed', and I assumed falsely that it was due to Vending.
