And that's something I normally don't express at all! Usually my years just overlap because nothing really exciting happens, but this year a lot of wonderful things happened and I can't believe it!!

After many years of trying [and failing], I'm finally going to have a baby! Due 20 days after my birthday. :)

And yesterday, I married a man who is beyond amazing! I'm so damn lucky to have him in my life and certainly blessed to be his wife! And I definitely can't wait to see him hold our child for the first time. He's already 'obsessed' with my belly. I'm not sure the little one can hear us yet, but we're still going to talk to him or her like they were here with us.

Also, another good point this year, I got rid of a lot of toxic people in my life. I couldn't deal with the drama anymore. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted!

Has anyone else had a great year? Or has it been just the same? I'm curious! :)

I've had a pretty amazing year as well. I finally figured out what I want to do for a living. I've been actively working towards my goals, and even though some of them are really simple like 'read 25 books this year', I'm really ecstatic about it. I started eating healthier a couple of months ago. I've been less anxious and more content than ever, I think. I'm so grateful for every good thing in my life.

Just wanted to stop by and say congratulations ! It is a wonderful blessing to have a little one. We had our daughter in 2013 but haven't been able to conceive again since. Treasure your coming little one!

It's been a crazy mixed bag for me. I left a school I hated (I'm a teacher) and was paid to train for a new teaching position at a different school that I love. I bought a new car, which is terrifying (so much money) but also amazing.

I don't like the holiday season (too many family members), but I'm pretty sure the good outweighs the bad.

Congrats! It's basically just been a normal year for me. Second year at my job. Kind of boring. But it's ending shitty with this election...don't even know how they call it an election when he basically lied and bought his way in. I'm honestly afraid for the future, which is something I've never felt before. sigh

Oh yes, little babes can hear you guys! My mom said when I was born, my dad started hacking and I turned to look at him. they can even hear the music you're listening to.

My year has been pretty great, except the months of November and the beginning of December (and finding out in April of this year that I'm diabetic). I even lost weight this summer!

Congrats! I'm glad that in the chaos and hell of 2016, at least some of us had a lovely year despite it all. I married the love of my life as well. As if that wasn't great enough, her extended family really likes me even though we have a definite language barrier and my own family isn't exactly awesome so it's wonderful really.
