Can someone tell me how to get a hydrus pet? I seen you have to do a quest on the omen islands for a mermaid lady, but when I click the wikis link to her quest it says shes no longer bound to the islands is there no way to get Hydrus pets now?

Pets can't be made Hydrus currently, since Merana was set free during the most recent plot thing. It's been stated that she'll be back eventually, so you'll have to wait until whenever that happens if you want a Hydrus colored pet.
