I've noticed that my shops (which were previously arranged by order of creation) are now ordered alphabetically. Is there any way an option could be implemented to choose the order shops are displayed in in menus (like when moving an item to shops)? This is a recent change that I've noticed just today and it's silly how many items I've accidentally moved to the wrong shop.

I know that quick stock is an option, but I tend to move items to shops as I get them, so just thought I'd point out that this sudden change was kind of jarring.

This probably belongs in suggestions, but I am totally for this. I hate that my shops are in alphabetical order and I can't change that.

I'd like to be able to choose the order myself

Aside from being used to what order shops are in when moving things - why does it really matter? Not trying to start something, just genuinely curious.

It bugs me too. Though usually I prefer alphabetical order, this one is annoying.

for me it matters because I use my shops in different ways. Because of the ways I use my shops, I rename them occasionally which means they move. This messes up my ability to analyze the information presented in the Shop Profit widget as well as the quickness with which I can sort and organize individual items in the inventory as well as the vault.

I'll probably end up renaming my shops AAchangeable, BBchangeable, CCchangeable and so forth. It solves the problem of the shops moving around but its still a small annoyance and I have to remember why I did that so I don't undo it.
