Okay so I was curious to what items I can mix together to create something new in Asmodeus Genetech Lab. I tried to do some items that I had in my inventory and nothing is working....is there a trick? Like certain items you can only mix? Are there certain popular items you can mix that will create something?

Yes, there are only certain combinations of items that will make things.

some of the newest combinations could kinda sorta be guessed based on either their item image or their description. There were threads in General in which users got together to guess about and try all the likely combinations and staff would sometimes drop in and give a hint.

Most of the older combinations are all WTF who would ever guess you could do that? It's better to ask or look at the guide like that one showed you.

There's another combination game if you have a zombie skin, this is the Alchove in the Underground run by NPC Zosi. Zosi's combinations are easier to guess because the ingredients come from a smaller list of possible items all of which are originally restockable from just one store.
