Hey, I decided to log back in after many many years and discovered that I basically didn't have anything on my account, plus it showed that I'd been a member for just 4 years, but I found emails from the site from 2007 (actually from subeta.net, before the whole subeta ws thing happened), which confirms that I've actually been on the site for much much longer. I haven't been active basically for at least 5 years, so I have no idea if I can get back the stuff I used to have, etc (I've always had this username as far as I can remember), is it even possible to recover my old account or is it long gone? Just. Out of curiosity.

Years and years ago, accounts were deleted for inactivity. Now they're just marked as inactive and the username and pet names can be taken by other users if they want, but everything else (items, achievements, etc.) is left as is.

I would file a ticket and see if they can help you with it, but I would assume your original account was deleted, so you made a new account and went inactive again.

Sorry, no, it's not possible to get your deleted account back. Even if staff did somehow have that information archived, it wouldn't really be fair to the countless users that came back later and had to start all over.

If your account is only four years old, then you remade it at some point four years ago, likely after realizing that your previous one was deleted. Perhaps you didn't play on your newer account very much and simply don't remember recreating it.

You've obviously had the same the same email address for a number of years- did you happen to notice if you have two separate emails for welcoming you to the site or confirming activation of your account?

hey, no, I have a 2010 email from subeta.net saying: "eugelu11, It's been awhile since you've logged into Subeta so we thought we'd send you a bit of what you're missing!" and I haven't gotten any other emails from the site until I randomly got a newsletter from the site last week (mind you, as you can probably tell I hardly ever delete an email), but it's totally possible that I created this new account when I couldn't access the other one, I don't really remember. I was just asking out of curiosity, but thanks anyways :)
