1. When we open them (I guess on Christmas?) will it be like one box from each user and all the items they gave spill out, or will it be like the gift center and every time you "gift" a user they will open up the specific set of items you gave that single time?

2. If I want to gift someone who won't be able to be online until later in the month, and they haven't set up a tree until then, will they still be able to receive and open presents?

On Christmas (the 25th), you have to manually collect the presents from your tree, but it's not one at a time. It takes you to a page that displays all of your gifts and tells you who gave you what item(s). Everyone gets a little something, because Melody usually gives out a couple of special items under people's trees in addition to the daily cottage items.

If you don't collect your presents before Luminaire ends, I think they can be saved and left for you to open the next year.

Not sure about the second question. Although if it gives you an option to give presents even if they haven't chosen a tree or anything yet, then I would assume they will still get them if they set up a tree later or something.

Yes, you can still send/recieve gifts if the user hasn't set up a tree.

There's a link to Luminaire trees in the News page sidebar, you can select one there. You can also donate 2000sP to Melody every 10 minutes and she'll give you which has 2-5 random ornaments to decorate your tree with.

Okay one more question, is there a difference between gifting a gift through the gift shop or placing it under their tree? And do you have to wait until the 25th to access the gifts? Sorry, my first year participating in all of this so just a little bit lost.

Yes. The gifts under the trees become available to be opened noon(ish) on the 25th, whereas the gifts from the gift center can be opened as soon as they are sent.

If you get a gift through the Gift Center, you get it right away. If the user places a gift under your tree, you get to open it on the 25 of December :)

Thank you guys :) Also I'm having a hard time saving my tree after I put ornaments on it. Anyone else having this issue? It just won't refresh or load after I hit save.

a hard refresh may help, or you may have to clear out your entire cache and cookies like I did. Check your User Profile and see if your tree is there and as it was when you last played with it. If this is so, then the refresh and clear should help.
