Can anyone tell me if you can do any thing with the Mage amulets

You can sell them, put them in your wardrobe and/or turn them in to the Mage.

If you have them all, and put them into your wardrobe, they get you an achievement. And by turning them into the Mage (located in Shadowglen), it can earn you tomes, like Tome of Darkness, which are worth a lot more than the amulets. It's random if you get a tome or not though, so it's a matter of luck.

I hoard all of my Mage Amulets and turn them in all at once, and I get one Tome for every six or seven Shards. So the current price of Tomes is around 700KsP higher than what you would get from selling the amulets themselves direcly.

This extra 100KsP-ish that you are getting per piece comes with a risk, as turning them in is random.
