The achievement is this Give 25 gifts to friends (through their profiles). I go to peoples profiles and click on the Give Gift thing and then it sends me to gift wrapping. I send the gift and then I do not get the achievement. What am I doing wrong? I have done this 3 times and still have not gotten any count towards this achievement.

I think that achievement means the gift giving under people's profile trees, which for some reason aren't showing up yet. Once it's fixed, you should be able to see trees on people's profiles, click on them, and then choose to leave a gift for them to receive on the 25th.
