Sales are awesome. I found myself spending more than I allocated for this month (shame on me). Like many users, I made a mad dash into the cash shop store and gleefully began spending like crazy. That being said, this is a feedback thread, so you know what's about to happen. Jonquil's going to gripe and complain about stuff.

I didn't have any issues when I was randomly browsing through the Cash Shop. However, when I went looking for a specific item, I had some problems trying to find it for the first time, or trying to find it again (after having seen it and not placed it into my cart). One item in particular I spent about 15 minutes just trying to find it again. It was the Gilded Turtle Trinket Box. I had viewed it in the store and KNEW it was there somewhere. I just couldn't find the little box until I looked for it under everything else. I thought it was going to be under "Themed Item" because it's all turtle-based stuff...similar to the Turpal turtle items. It's under the "Special" category, and now that I know it can be converted into more than just one item, I realize it makes sense.

There were a few items under "Themed Item" that I found really strange. Several items seemed to be just hanging out there without any "buddy" items to be grouped. I realize that this is due to the sorting by price, which can be very handy when you are only looking for something for a set price. But when I was shopping and wanted to check out all the space themed items they seemed to be scattered all over the place. It made it difficult to find all of any set.

A few items listed in the shop search feature stated that it was found in the cash shop (and didn't mention that it wasn't available currently). Items such as the Teiss Bonny White Sweater, shop search says that the item is found in the CS Boutique. When I click that it takes me to the Boutique section but none of those set pieces seem to be available right now. Or is there a second page to that Boutique tab that I am missing?

During the event I noticed that the Hustler's special banner deal had displayed a few items that were WAY cheaper in the cash shop store than what he was asking. I meant to make a note about which one(s), but I didn't. Needless to say, people may have purchased some of those "deals" of his and be entitled to a refund and not realize it. He is a hustler, but that seems to be a bit mean during a sales event.

I didn't shop exclusively from the site's Cash Shop, I spent about half a day going through every single Custom user's store. I must say, I am really impressed with how creative and talented they all are. Evidently I had been following about 80% of all the custom creators already, and I ended up becoming a follower to more. I gave myself imaginary points every time I understood item description references.

Throughout the event I received various event alerts and it made me feel popular. A few people accidentally sent duplicate notices, but that's understandable with any lag or connection problems as you post in forums or make alerts.

The one feature I really wish was available while shopping in the Custom stores (especially during the first lag filled day) was a sorting feature to remove locked items. That would have helped me load and preview items more quickly, and not fall in love with some locked pieces that weren't on sale or available to me. That recommendation may not be popular, but it would have saved a lot of frustration and time for me, had I been able to sort out locked pieces on my end.

I also wish there was some sort of search feature for particular colors while in Custom shops. Or to go to a custom item I bought in the past and search for the creator, hoping to buy more similar pieces from their shop.

The cash shop is a pain the butt with the way that items can only be placed into one category, even if they have multiple uses. Like you have the Hanazaki Onigiri, which is a food, a wearable, and part of a themed set, but you can only find it under "themed items". I'd love to see it fixed up so a category would show every relevant item instead of just the ones that were arbitrarily placed there.

The ability to sort sections by ID (to group sets), price, or name would be really useful too.

I've spent the past week playing around on Newegg for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and it's really hard to come back to Subeta's cash shop after that. Being able to find RAM under "computer components", "memory", and "bundles" is really useful. I know Subeta's not a major retailer and I can't expect perfection, but a store's a store and Subeta is pretty barebones compared to the alternatives.

Wasn't the cash shop supposed to get an update a while ago? I remember there being a big feedback thread about how the banner on the main page was advertising a monthly collection from a few months prior, and I think staff said there was something coming.

...and then a month or two later the banner was updated to a generic "welcome" message with no items so they wouldn't have to update it ever again. I don't remember there being any other changes?

I completely agree. Just last month I posted in the CS Suggestion forum about it. replied that it was something that would require an entire revamp of the CS, unfortunately. I think it should be something that the staff considers though because the CS is just a real pain to navigate right now. I also hate how adding an item to your cart refreshes the whole page. Anyhow, here is the post and what was said:

I just want the cash shop to be updated to load faster. Some of the new shops load one tab at a time, as you open them like a new page and it makes them load quite quickly. Please update the cash shop for this. The first day of the sale my browser crashed trying to open the cash shop, and every time I go there it takes over a minute to load. =/

I know they put things into categories because all of the items on one page was overwhelming, but it really sucks how hard it is to find things now because so many things could be put into various categories. Unfortunately, I don't know how to improve that. Maybe a search option?

I'm pretty frustrated right now simply because the site worked perfectly fine for me to spend my actual money and get some CSC. But when I actually had a day off to shop the sale and use that CSC, the site was down for hours. And yay, I really am thankful they added a day, but I didn't have that day (today) off so I knew it was going to be close. So last night I stayed up late trying to squeeze in some time which I was able to go over most things and start narrowing things down, but today when I go to buy anything, I can't get a page to load. 10+ refreshes to get a page to load. One hour until the sale is over and I'll be lucky if I get even half of the CSC I put on here spent. :/ Bummer.

I usually only buy cs challengers now, but omg, depending on if its a book, a food, a toy, it could be literally on any page, and usually somewhere in the middle on the page where it can get lost.

I would love a feature that shows users which items are retired, or brought back only for the sale, versus the items that will stay in the CS shop after the sale. I had a pretty limited csc budget this time around, so I was trying to focus on items that had been brought back - so I wouldn't have to wait half a year to get them. There were a few that I thought for sure were regular CS items, but actually were removed from the shop when the sale was finished, so I've been cursing myself for not grabbing them.

A search would be great. Also if we could make it so the page didn't reload completely every time you put something in your cart so you lose your place? Cause that's probably my biggest issue with the cs (other than the fact that I never have money to spend there but that's not subeta's fault). I got around it by middle clicking on the cart button so it opened in a new page, but it'd be great if I didn't have to do that.

I would love a "Show Wishlist items" in the CS like we have in user shops.

I love this sale every year! <3 I always either can't spend at all or I spend too much. Rarely do I actually put in what I meant to.

I know that we've brought up the cart size before, and that we don't want to be buying large quantities of items at once because it messes things up, but I would really love if there were some feature like that to help us when we're trying to narrow down our choices. Like a maybe room to throw everything into. I ended up making a WL just for black friday but it was an annoying workaround. Maybe I'm spoiled with the way online stores like Amazon have things, where you throw it all in your cart, and there are save for later and delete buttons in there. And if you've saved it for later you can move it back to your cart. Would there be some way we could move as much as we want into the cart, but it won't let us purchase if there are more than ten? And if so could there be a save for later option to move them out of the buying cart but not lose track of them altogether? Or is that 'maybe' list a possibility?

Or maybe, we can put as much as we want in the cart, just like a real store. But then in the cart, each item has a box to check next to it, and you have to check the box on the ones you want to check out with. So you can check up to ten items at a time and then the button would say 'Purchase checked items'

I don't know. I'm rambling again. :P
