For some reason, my pet:
[pet not found]
has been leashed on the forums as of yesterday. I don't have a gold account atm, nor did I pay to use the "leash" feature since my last gold account which was like months ago. It just randomly happened on its own yesterday.
When I go to the pets page and choose leash from the drop-down for the pet in question, as expected it says: "Oh No! You need a gold account to leash a pet."
So yea, no idea what's going on. I feel like this is part of the site glitches that hit yesterday. Am I the only one with this happening? :0
Im having the same issue as well. No gold account but my pet is leashed. However this is the pet i normally leash when my gold is active.
I alternate between my pets when I leash but this was the one I leashed when I had my last GA so you might be onto something there.
@Cresenta Its as if our accounts went back in time. Avatar likes werent reset but were reduced as if we all went back 6 months or something.
Perhaps this is all happening because they are performing a backup? I know the downtime will be for the server transfer but perhaps the backing up of data is happening now.
@Cresenta seems likely that it has to do with this Forum Post Updates
That's probably the reason. I just hope they can get things back to normal after the move.
Thanks for the info! :)
Yep, happening here too. I was dumb and opened a ticket without checking here first; I thought it was related to a GA bug I experienced a couple weeks ago. also said it may be related to the site updates, and said she'd check with Keith to see if the UAs need to do anything, otherwise to keep an eye on the update thread that mentioned.
Edit: @Cresenta Not sure if this is mentioned in the other thread or not, but I've had it confirmed that Keith is aware of the issue and will be tweaking the forum coding, which will fix the issue for everyone.
I was aware of the post count and achievement counts being removed but wasnt sure if this issue was part of it.
Most likely all forum issues are related to keith tweeking codes.
Thanks for the info. ^_^
