I'm looking into using this theme and I want to use google for more inspiration but I'm not sure what the search term could be.

Things like the Autumn bone set and these similar ones from before

So 1, is there a certain way to call this combination of nature/plants with bones? and 2, looking for more items on site like this apart from the ones I posted!

Thanks!

I've always kind of thought of it as a rebirth aesthetic I really enjoy this too, and when I incorporate it into TCs I tend to just add items that symbolize both life and death, as I don't think there's many more items that are specific to that exact theme other than those that were recently released, so here's a few suggestions:

You might try your luck at searching the less gory, more artsy side of vulture culture too :) I hope that helped a little

Sugarskull or bonegarden, maybe? I know sugarskull isn't exactly like those, but there are sugarskull items around the site that show similar detailing so they'd fit right in.

These items might be useful~

as far as a specific term, i don't know that there is one for nature/plants + bones. the closest thing i can think of is overgrowth. there are some things that are similar or related, though. Like detritus is dead plant matter (its often mixed with dead animals and live growth, especially in forests). If you're looking for more inspiration, I would look up the alnwick poison garden. Its not quite the same, but its got a similar aesthetic, especially the front gates

My pet Teschi is based off of this theme (mainly skulls + flowers but I've branched out to other bones also because there are so few items that fit this theme and I am a fan of large TCs)! It looks like the only relevant items not already named that I've found for her are: CWs:

I've heard the term bone garden before but googling that doesn't really bring up anything useful from what I could find :x Watching this thread for other suggestions though haha

I see photos of that sort of thing on vulture culture Tumblr blogs a lot but VC is like a general taxidermy community. Its not much but maybe it'll help you find some stuff?

Thanks for the ideas! The gourd witch flower skulls are good, I forgot about those. I've never heard of vulture culture before now. I don't care so much for taxidermy that still has fur but this still looks like a good place to start. Already I've found an image like it! Thank you!

Thanks for the ideas! I saw sugar skull things come up while I was searching around, and Bone garden sounds really cool... Yeah I wish searching bone garden would be more what I'm looking for... Thanks for listing those items!

Thank you for listing those items and helping with the ideas :)

You're welcome! There are some similar things if you search bone garden on tumblr, but there's also a restaurant or something by that name so that's 90% of the tag. And not a lot of what IS there is exactly easy to see, it's frustrating. I haven't looked through the vulture culture tags or anything though, but I'm glad you found something using that term! I'll have to try that too :P

"Calavera" is a word that might help you in your search. Also "Dia de los Muertos" and the term "skeleton flower" produced some interesting results. Hope that helps some. C:
