This needs to go well if I ever want to be prefect or maybe even Head Girl! She hadn't realized some students were watching her, almost concerned, and talking among themselves. Taking a deep breath she turned to her fellow students.

"Hullo'. My name is Karysa Porto and I was assigned by the Headmistress as the Hufflepuff event coordinator. Well really she just asked me if I could announce the common room get together and I asked-if-we-could-have-a-party-instead-but-I-was-worried..." Karysa stopped embarrassed. "I'm sorry I am not very good at talking in front of people, but the important thing is that we are allowed to celebrate as a house! We are going to have a PARTY!"

Waving her wand dance music started playing from the back wall and furniture began rearranging itself. "Uf, that worked! I was worried for a moment I might knock someone out. Erm, anyways our prefects will be coming along with our food and if I am not mistaken our Christmas trees should be arriving soon! The house elves promised to bring hot chocolate, coffee, and tea to start of our party and we can start decorating the common room and outside our door anytime! Our decoration boxes should be here or arriving any moment now. Enjoy the festivities everyone! I need to get back to work. There are some things I need to get ready for us."

Sullivan looked up from his spot on one of the couches as Karysa entered the common room and announced the party. He watched as Karysa waved her wand and music started playing. Noticing that the furniture began to move itself as well to make room for dancing and to create space he hopped up and crossed his arms across his chest.

"I must say, I love the idea of a holiday party," he said stepping closer to speak with Karysa directly.

The idea of a party with hot chocolate and decorating Christmas trees was easily making Sullivan excited. To drink his favorite beverage with some of his favorite people sounded perfect after what felt like one of the longest terms at Hogwarts.

She smiled and extended her hand and introduce herself "I am a third year and love Potions and Herbology... you?" She grinned at the boy "it is nice to meet you."

"Oh no. Don't give her any of the cookies! She thinks all cookies are for her, but I keep telling her she's not supposed to have them," Sadie said, extracting herself from her seat. She noticed a couple of house elves brought up the drinks while no one was looking and helped herself to some hot chocolate. Zanna turned her attention from Karysa to Sadie and meowed loudly.

"I said no!" She huffed exasperatedly. Zanna meowed again, ignoring her. She pawed at Sullivan's () foot, begging for his cookie.

She pointed at the last table with food right next to it was a treat dispenser "You just paw at it and a treat will fall, but don't be greedy!" Karysa smiled and petted Zanna's head. "Don't worry it will only give one treat per pet every 30 minutes. I worked on it with Professor Norman. He helped me charmed it since Achilles likes to beg for treats but he got fat and I always gave in to his cries. He is curled up by the fire but he has his timing down." Karysa smiled at the ball of fluff on a floor pillow. "I am Karysa, it is nice meeting you!"

Zanna pawed at the treat dispenser and mewed happily as a treat fell out. She nibbled at it and pawed at the treat dispenser again. When nothing came out, she pawed at it some more. Sadie chuckled.

"So, I couldn't help but overhear.. herbology and potions? I'm more into transfiguration myself."
