Over the last couple of months, since prizes were eliminated from many, I have noticed quests giving less and less sP. The one above has reached the ridiculous stage. I'm not real happy with this trend.

I believe Maleria gives out sP based on the rarity of the item you give her, so she only asks for a rarity 1 item, she'll have a really low payout.

A single data point isn't statistically useful. Quests are quick enough to complete that you should be looking at the total profit after doing the 10/15 for the day and calculating trends off that. I've noticed lately quests have been plenty profitable lately.

I haven't noticed any drop in sP rewards.

I did get a 400 sp payout a couple days ago from Maleria... (I think it was actually during her last weekend quest tbh) but not all of her quests do this. Sometimes she's just being a bit stingy =P

I haven't paid much attention to the monetary rewards NPCs have been giving me per quests. But today I made 3-4mil total, which I think is along the lines of what I've been making the last few years (without a GA and without selling the items I was rewarded). I feel like that's pretty fair.

i make at least 4.5 million by doing every single quest (15 bc GA) sometimes the payout is tiny in one or two but overall profits are pretty great

Occasionally Maleria will do that. It's not a new trend. I think the lowest I got was 700sP from one of her quests when I first started here (like 4 months ago, before the prizes for quests changed). But usually she pays at least what it costs to get the items. In my opinion, the quests shouldn't be profitable 100% of the time - it's fine with me if there's a small risk of net loss as well, since you can sometimes get really nice payout and prizes from them.

I do my quests every day (that's 150 quests a day) and get at least 3-4 mil profit per day from them. There will always be a handful of quests where it's a net loss (especially if Alexander asks for a more expensive book).

Quests give out too much money to begin with. They should focus more on prizes than sP

When she asks for it is rarity 1 and she will give you only a couple hundred sP for it. Skip that quest.

I might get one super low return on a quest here and there but what I make otherwise is extremely lucrative that I really don't notice or even mind.

I haven't noticed a low payout myself. I've actually had pretty good luck sP wise, and have made a decent profit.

Payouts from the quests seem to swing pretty wildly for me. I was tracking the payouts to figure out how much to spend on the items for a while. Pete used to be one of my highest ones and now Pete and Library are my two lowest. Like under 10k gained per quest. Cynthia used to be terrible, but now i get around 20-30k from each of hers. Some payouts seem really random, including Maleria's. I only do hers because on average, there tends to be a decent gain.

Seems like the Quests are getting dull they used to be so great

So I know everything is double special quest whatever this week - but I started with a million this evening to do quests. I don't have a GA - but I managed to make 5 mil off the quests I did do - and that is just PURE SP. So I don't think there is anything wrong with them in the slightest.

The only thing I think is wrong with quests is Maleria always asks me for three items.

I agree, I think it's because a while back, like a few months back, about half the quests stopped giving out item rewards completely. Maleria, Cinthia, Cursed stopped giving out items. I think Cursed started giving them out again recently, but the others don't give out item prizes anymore unless they're the weekend quest (or there's some event). It's pretty dull to do 15 quests and only get sP rewards. I used to like seeing what items I got but now those ones just aren't fun anymore.
