Im thinking of a few chicken breasts in a crockpot with chicken stock with some basil and salt or garlic salt.. I have a box of stuffing going to use the left over juices in crockpot for the stuffing. So far no desert. corn bread but not just plain cornbread I make a moist one using 2 boxes of jiffy mix,2 eggs, can of whole corn and can of cream corn.(sigh.. ive got no corn so can't make this 11/19/16)

so that's pretty much my menu for 2.Trying to cook with as little oven use and 0 stove use I can.I have a electric skillet, crockpot, and a microwave those will be main sources.

I have a feeling no matter what I make most will go to waste. The other person just wastes food.Takes a bite throws it in fridge and never touches it again. But later the same day they will open a can and take few bites and give the rest to the dog.SO ya I don't cook much anymore cause of this.Or they throw it up..Something wrong with there digestive track so far doctor got no idea what.

Also can I freeze whats left of my corn beard in ziploc bags or something?Like I said If I put leftovers in fridge they will just sit there till they go bad.

Anyone know of any cheap easy egg recipes?I got 4 dozen eggs gave to me..

I think you can store fresh corn bread in the freezer up to 2-3 months as long as you keep it in aluminum foil and plastic wrap.

Omelett, egg sandwiches, quiche ... I'd suggest you to use Google to find nice recipes with what you have.

Here is a site with egg recipes

I found this but I wonder if I can take out the cheese and mustard and just follow the recipe minus the 8 hour sitting time.I was thinking cheap thin bread would soak it up just fine..

Just found this I like this recipe.wonder if I can take the cheese out..or is that something that holds it together?(I think the eggs hold it together but ive never made a casserole)

If the cheese is only on top, it's purely for taste.

I tried it today. It tasted like nothing..I used seasoned sausage but dish still had no taste..It was like eating bread that had been mixed with eggs and milk and baked.

I used white bread country sausage(it's a seasoned sausage) eggs milk

no clue why it had no flavor..Only thing I took out of the recipe was cheese..

If I ever make this again I wonder if some kind of non plain bread would add flavor..OR something that would go with the sausage I know I can switch the sausage to ham..

ALso found a thing in my local paper about some place deliverer meals for thanksgiving.Gave them my address they said I will see them Wednesday.

Seasoned sausages are mostly not going to spread their flavours to other things (because it's mostly the meat). You could have added spices to make it more flavourful. The choice of bread couldn't have much impact on the flavour either. I'd suggest you to invest in spices at the dollar store to make your dishes more fragrant and interesting.

If I were to do the dish you've done, I would have removed the milk and the bread for macaroni, dijon mustard (can be found at the dollar store), maple flavour sausage, eggs and some cheese found in sale at any store I can. I'd have added garlic powder, pepper, brocoli, sea salt, chili powder and that's it.

You can do a lot of stuff with eggs. Scrambled eggs are the easiest go to, and you can mix things like spices and cheese in to make them taste better. If you want to avoid using a stovetop, you can make them in an electric skillet or in a bowl in the microwave. You also mentioned that you have green onions, which are awesome in scrambled eggs. You can also throw some eggs, milk, a little bit of vanilla and some cinnamon and nutmeg into a bowl and mix that up to make french toast. when I make mine, I just soak the bread in the mixture and then pan fry it with some butter. It normally tastes pretty good and doesn't take a lot of time and effort. Have you tried making chicken salad instead of egg salad? You can used canned chicken, so it's easy, and basically just throw the chicken into the same recipe that you used for the egg salad. If you have a ton of eggs, you can also do deviled eggs, if you have mayonnaise and mustard.

right now im trying egg mix(eggs mixed with milk) green onion tomato basil in the microwave with some ripped up bread and a bit of garlic salt... (YUM!be better if I had cheese though.)

I hate boiling eggs in the microwave cause never know when they will explode.. Yes I have canned chicken and canned tuna.I try and cook the night before so all I have to do is warm it up in the morning.

I can't get to a store till the 29th and it has to be walmart cause im broke and all Ive got is a $12.00 walmart gift card.

Eggs exploding sounds like it really wouldn't be a very fun time. I would be afraid that it would kill my microwave. Hmm.

Have you tried looking at a recipe like this? http://www.supercook.com/#/recipes

Trying to come up with recipes like that is always hard, I think. I struggle with what we're going to have for dinner because I never buy anything that makes any sense. It really sucks that you're that broke though. I've been in that position before. Definitely not any fun.

Ive been looking on that site but there is so many boiled egg recipes it takes me awhile to find one that I like and that doesn't involve boiling or scrambling..

I have a microwaveable rice steamer thing I used for boiling my eggs it has a lid and valve to release steam.

It is seriously a pain to find something to do with eggs that doesn't require boiling or scrambling, especially if you don't just want to use the eggs in baking or something like that. Eggs are a freaking pain.

I don't mind doing egg bakes(going try doing them in crockpot) but flavor combos im just not sure..Like ive got canned chicken if I add that to the egg mix what else would go good.

Got my meals delivered. They gave me mashed potatoes, green beans, turkey mixed with stuffing, bread roll and a cupcake.Enough for 1 person in each takeout box.Got 2 cause me and the other person I take care of.Wish it had a piece of pie..but oh well nice of them to bring me free food.

Usually, green onion goes really well with eggs, and bacon, and cheese, if you're able to get your hands on stuff. It's the getting stuff that is hard. If I had a way to, I would mail you some pie, but I don't know that it would make it through the mail.

All my money goes for bills.Giftcards is only way I get food, household stuff, animal feed.I got denied for food stamps.I get less than a lady who get's one thousand off herself and two hundred off each kid(she has 2 kids) a month and she gets food stamps but I don't.I have 0 things on my court record.I don't get why she gets help when she has more income a month than I do.She also gets over a thousand back in taxes every year..I can't file taxes cause I own nothing and I don't get enough a month.

SO when bredsheads happen near me I try and go but it's so hard to find rides.

That really does suck. I know how you feel. I work 40 hours a week and all, but we're still freaking broke, and because I make more than minimum wage, we don't qualify for any assistance like food stamps, which really sucks, because my husband can't work right now for medical reasons, and basically all I can do is pay our bills and rent and stuff. I got really lucky and my mother is able to help me out with food. I have like $1400 a month in income, and I am still struggling because I'm supporting two of us, and the cost of living is so damn high where I am. But I definitely feel your pain. That situation is less than optimal.
