Hi! So last year I tried out an idea that I had for celebrating my birthday and it ended up being really fun. I am hoping that a few of you will join me again this year.

The Idea: Post a fun or crazy idea for a birthday party theme (IE "stripes" or "unicorns" or "polka-dotted hippos in tutus"). Then throw a party for the person that posted above you by sending them gifts that fit the theme they chose. I will throw a party for the last person to post so that everybody has a party thrown for them, Subeta-style. The gifts do not need to be expensive or rare - they just need to fit the chosen theme. You should plan on sending a minimum of 10 items. Also, while Wl items are always a nice surprise, this is not about exclusively sending wl gifts. It is about sticking to a theme. Please do not restrict yourself to wl items only! :)

For example, last year the person that threw a party for me sent napkins, cups, drinks, food and silverware and then several cat-themed items as that was my chosen theme. I personally told a birthday party story in the gift box descriptions of the presents that I sent to the person I gifted.

I'll give you guys until next Monday, the 21st, to enter and then we'll start the fun. :) I'll ping participants when it's starting so that you can be certain. Oh, and this is totally open to anyone that wants to join - not just my friends. Feel free to ping others. Make sure to refer to this first post to see who you will be gifting as the posts can be a little confusing.

Pokemon is my theme. I have had several pokemon theme birthday parties :D So we need to give to the theme that is above us starting the 21st on the first post?

I'm sorry hon I won't be here all week next week. My youngest is graduating from Army Basic Training in South Carolina and I won't have access to complete this. Awesome idea though!

Throwing out some suggestions for party themes: Dolly Tea Party, ZOOrrific Party, Frozen Party, Stars and Stripes Party, Polka Dot Madness, Minion Madness, Moon and Stars Party, Medieval Times Party, Steampunk Party, Fashionista Party, Diva-licious party.

My choice if I were able to do this would be the Dolly Tea Party as I have a Dolly gallery. But all of these suggestions were thought of in relation to items readily available on Subeta.

Hello! I think you might want to choose one or the other, as it might be difficult to match them up, but it's really up to you. Just let me know what you decide so that I can add your theme to my first post. Oh and are you by chance related to my friend Piplup?

Oh how exciting! Does he know where he'll be stationed yet? Those are great ideas. What if I change the order of people so that you are gifting someone that doesn't mind waiting (like me)? Would you like to be a part of it?

I would love that if it can be arranged hon. Just let me know. My daughter will be going to her next duty station for schooling at Ft. Lee Virginia. Then home for Christmas. Not sure where her permanent duty station will be.

Ok, I put you in front of Ringo, so you'll be throwing a party for me. I don't mind waiting.

I hope this doesn't trip you up, but I am inserting ATrueHeart in ahead of you, which means you'll be throwing a party for her and she'll be doing the same for me. That way she can participate whenever it is convenient for her.

I guess I would like to have my party to be Pokemon themed.

I'll put both with an emphasis on Pokemon and we'll see what happens. :)
