I was recently shopping and that shop had categories. I asked the owner who said the new shops have categories. There is no way to put categories in my new shops/galleries. Is this a glitch? If not, HOW can I put categories in my new gallery?

Are you sure it wasn't a gallery? New galleries do have categories (the button is 3rd across in the top menu of each gallery) but the new shops have been deliberately set up not to have them.

Thanks for your help. It might have been a gallery. I want to put categories in my gallery, I don't see that button in my shop "INGREDIENTS: genetech, scroll, baking" that I use as a storage. Where do I find it? In the Edit shop page I have:

It sounds like you're using a shop as a gallery! A gallery should have these top buttons: Edit Items Quick Stock Edit Categories View Gallery Edit Gallery Delete Gallery Your Shops

You can no longer turn a shop into a gallery so you will have to make a new one at the 'Your Shops' page. Galleries don't have any pricing functions now though so you won't be able to see how much items are worth from within the gallery anymore. On the plus side they do have categories and can store more items. c:
