Back before the current billboard system was in place you could buy things like Billboard (10k) to put ads up on Subeta.

Someone gifted me one so I decided to try it out because I was interested in what would happen.

I'm not 100% sure, but do you have to link the item/banner image or upload it directly on subeta? If it's the former, it's probably about the http/https. Nonetheless staff should be checking billboards before they are released to site if I'm not totally wrong.

A lot of people use them around site events like morostide and valentines though.

I'm curious about this, too. I sold a 10k billboard and I have a few other billboards. When items like the ISS and whatever the costume trunk box was called were able to be exchanged for CSC I think these were overlooked. Are they still usable?

Your best bet is to file a ticket and see what happened. Usually if they are unuseable, the option is removed or the item will turn into CSC when used.

I recently had this issue and had to submit a ticket. The items do not work and you have to do it through the billboard page. After I submitted the ad, an admin refunded me in CSC and I was asked to submit again through the page which then worked without a hitch.

So the staff might need to change the billboard items to items that can be redeemed for CSC?

Maybe! But the 10ks are given out by the Bathhouse Pools, which is a bit of a spanner in the works. Would be better if they were just fixed.

But anything like that should go directly into the currency right? Like the SBQ invites I get from the bathhouse go towards my total and doesn't actually give me the item.

Sure, but I guess the billboard currency is CSC which makes things awkward. I got mine from the Pools a while back. The admin who responded to my ticket said they'd filed a report with the programmers but I guess it's a low priority fix.

No worries! It happened to me about a month ago, so I'm not sure whether it's a recent issue or one that's only come to light with the Pools now handing out the item.
