So, I'm playing Subeta on an off these past few years and each time I come back I get a little bit lost... How many pets can one person currently own? Thanks in advance.

10 pet slots by default 45 slots are currently buyable (so 55 max if you're starting from scratch today)

3 were available in past contests Plus any from loyalty boxes (so the grand total is about 70)

I don't know if there really is a max anymore. You can get 10 for starting, 10 with the millionaire centre, 25 with extra slot additions. And it's possible to have extra (max 10) from early plushies/totems, extras from loyalty totems (no max?) and extras from awards and prizes (I have 3, don't know if that is all that were given out).

You're welcome! The Millionaire slots are the cheapest, so if you're looking to start buying some more, definitely start there (the first one costs 20m and they increase in cost by 20m each slot, up to 200m for the 10th)

There technically is a max, ! 3 is so far the max with rewards (two quest-a-thons and snowman competition I believe) and loyalty box is really a max of how many years you've gotten one (though not everyone uses all of their boxes on slots).

You can check how many slots you have per category on your User Dashboard. The "from pet slot plushies and early totems (soft max 10)" category is also buyable for CSC (though I forgot that you can have a few more from when they switched over the plushies, so the cap is just over 70 haha), but if you don't have the extras from that or any from contests so far, then you can have up to 55 + the number of years you've been onsite if you use all your loyalty boxes on pet slots c:

What does the first category mean? Early totems and pet slot plushies?

I'm not 100% sure on how it went down since I wasn't here and it's been awhile since I've heard it explained. But years ago you bought mystical plushies from the Cash Shop and redeemed them for pet slots instead of just buying the slots with CSC, and there were a few changes made (I think the price of the plushies were lowered once and then it was changed to just buying with CSC?). At some point during the changes, if you had used the plushies at the higher price they gave you extra slots to make up for it that didn't count against the maximum. If you hadn't/weren't around, you can still buy those 10 slots for CSC but you can't get the "extra" ones that were given, hence the "(soft max 10)." The max is 10 unless you were given extra back in the day.
