Pumpkin carving, how do you tell..

Ok so this year I've stocked up on pumpkins again to try and get a little closer in completing my collection.. however, I'm not sure what pumpkin carving goes with which pumpkin =/
I only need to know in case I already have all the carved pumpkins from one set already.
Subetalodge has a Notes section on each item and the carved pumpkin items have this, they all say where they come from

I think it's been changed so that you can get any of the carved pumpkins from any of the carve-able pumpkins, at least that's what I noticed during Morostide.
i don't know for sure, but from what i saw during morostide, fresh pumpkin and carving pumpkin will give you any year's carved pumpkin (outside of last year's set, maybe), but freshly picked pumpkin (2011, i think?) and carvable pumpkin (2015) only give you their set of pumpkins, like blossoming tree carved pumpkin or melodys cottage carved pumpkin. this is all just personal observation, so ymmv.

Ah interesting. I didn't get the carvable pumpkin from the drops so I'm wondering if it was a rare drop compared to the others?
sorry about that. I remember that the carve results got changed on a fairly regular basis as some years folks had a harder time getting the blanks from previous years to carve. Subetalodge is probably the best resource now that the Morostide board is down again until next year.
If pumpkin blanks can be carved on non-Morostide times, maybe someone will be willing to do a bunch of carves and keep track of them to see if it's any different from Subetalodge? Not me though, I did all my carving for Achievement already.
i didn't pay attention to which pumpkins were floating tbh; carvable pumpkins might not've been floating at all? i had some tucked away for fantine and when carving a bunch didn't give me any of the old carved pumpkins i just vaulted them all again p: i did the same with any freshly picked pumpkin i got this year.
