It's my 21st birthday and I'm super excited! I have drank before, but not inside of the US. I drank legally in Singapore but I'm sure their drinks are different from the ones in the US! So what drinks do you guys recommend? ^^

I'm going to be barhopping at this street of bars in my town. It's like a thing for every college kid turning 21 to do here haha.

I don't have any in particular that I can name off the top of my head, but anything that doesn't taste like it could strip paint is good! I like cocktails that are subtle and refreshing. Apple juice with a dash of vodka is also good!

Honestly, I barely drink since I'm not a big alcohol drinker. I do like white wine and flavored margaritas and stuff though like that though.

Sangria is the best. It's one of the only things that I can actually stomach.

Maybe try a water infused with the fruits? I know there are non-alcoholic sangria recipes out there!

i loooove margaritas, i'm a sucker for tequila ehehe. i don't recommend mixing all kinds of different alcohols, i know for a fact that it gets me intoxicated WAY too fast and i crash or get sick whenever that happens ;;;; so i'd stick to vodka drinks and water orrr rum drinks and water ! just staaaay hydrated ! and have fun!

Long Island Iced Tea is my signature cocktail! I love cocktail bars anyway, and part of the fun is trying new drinks! But my go-to drink is vodka with sprite. I hate beer and wine, so spirits are my thing. Happy birthday!

my favorite is balvenie doublewood (whiskey) but the most of the time i dosn't drink alcohol because i'm the driver.

It depends what kind of drinks you prefer - do you mind drinking spirits straight? Do you prefer something sweet, fruity, bitter?

If you like sweet cocktails, try things like french martinis, espresso martinis, amaretto sours, any kind of daiquiri. If you prefer something with a bit of a stronger alcohol taste, maybe try an old fashioned or a gimlet.

My personal favourites are creamy ones like a white Russian or a snowball, or anything with amaretto and cherry :0)

If you go fruity, make sure to pace yourself! The sugar makes the alcohol go down way too easily; also the liver has to work overtime to process both the fructose and alcohol. Happy belated birthday c:

Never tried whiskey in Dr. Pepper. I had a mojito once and that wasn't too bad. I do like Coke and rum, which I don't drink anymore because I'm not allowed. Diabetic :'(

Hope your birthday was a good one! Drink wise, it all depends on your flavor profile. I like everything from beer and wine to straight bourbon depending on my mood. I guess my go to "safe" drink whenever I go out is a rum and coke. I love kraken rum but most places usually carry captain Morgan or Malibu which I also like. Whatever you do, don't cheap out and get well rum. When rum is bad, it can be BAD :x oh and buttery nipple shots. Those are delicious.
