I got gave 4 fresh tomatoes 1 whole onion and a bit more than half one 1 iceberg lettuce

I have Spices garlic salt salt pepper basil lemon pepper

can tuna green beans whole corn

fridge items ketchup mustard miracle whip eggs(of course) butter Milk (got gave a 2 gallons I don't even use 1 gallon in a month)

odd and ins Latin rice(no clue what seasonings are in it.) 18 oz creamy peanut butter Chicken stock

cooking source electric skillet microwave

I feel like there is a meal in this mess of ingredients but I can't seem to pin point it.. Im so NOT used to cooking with onions or fresh produce like tomatoes..I never know when I have time to cook so I do not buy fresh produce cause it goes to waste before I have time to use it.

Things that ive thought of but no clue on.. using the corn with tomatoes(diced) in the electric skillet but not sure what else to add.. using the lettuce as a wrap for something..

When I was a kid my mom used to make stir fried scrambled eggs and tomatoes quite often. It's a pretty standard simple recipe in Chinese cuisine though I wasn't a fan of it when I was a kid. I didn't like the watery texture the tomatoes gave to the eggs, but I've started to like it as an adult though.

Here's a basic recipe for it if you want to give it a try. You could try adding onions to it, but I'm not sure how the taste would be. I don't like the taste of onions, never have so I pretty much avoid adding onions in pretty much most things I eat unless I'm eating out and it's in my takeout and I'm too lazy to take it out.

From the ingredients it sounds like you could probably make a variation on a lettuce wrap using tuna, mayo, corn, and possibly diced up tomatoes as well.

As Normandy suggested, you can make something with eggs. In addition to the scrambled (which is easier) you can also make an omelette. Had you owned any rice, I'd suggest fried rice as well :)

When you cook with onions, you gotta always remember to fry them a few mins before throwing everything else on it, it'll make the onions soft and a little sweeter :) Good luck cooking!

I've heard refrigerating onions before you start cutting them is good if you're the type that gets irritated eyes from cutting them.

As for rice, if you cook rice, the remainder can usually be used for fried rice or Chinese rice porridge. It's what my parents used to do with our rice when I was a kid. It's also what I usually end up doing when I have leftover rice in the house after having cooked some.

I use a rice cooker for cooking rice though.

When you need to peel the onion, cut off both of the ends and then slice through the first layer of the onion, and peel that off with the flaky mess. Leaving water running close by or chewing gum while cutting onions also prevents teary eyes from onion cutting. I use Gordon Ramsey's method when I cook rice, it makes them perfect every time. However I cook rice so rarely, so I have to google it every time ..

I turned a fan on while cutting the onion.I only used less than half of one.I took my Latin rice and instead of water used chicken broth and put my onions in it.It tasted like stove top stuffing..I cooked most of it in the skillet but I finished it in microwave. My skillet wasn't big enough for the rice..

SO now I just need to figure out the rest of the onions and all the tomatoes..
