So this may seem like a dumb question, but I am wondering, I have a Legacy pet that I want to change the name of, but I am worried that if I change the name it will no longer have the (Legacy) tag under it. So the question is simple, if I change the name, does that go away or does it stay? Cause I think I noticed that if a Legacy pet goes to the pound or is transferred that it disappears, unless somehow I'm mistaken on that.

a name change wouldn't affect that. the (legacy) note just means it was adopted before adoption AND creation dates were tracked, so the creation and adoption dates are the same. if the pet is abandoned or transferred, the adoption date will change and the pet will lose the legacy note. as long as it stays on your account, that will not change.

Ahh okay! Cool! thanks for letting me know, I was debating between name changing him or dumping him and making a pet with the desired name, as the latter would cost less in SP. So obviously I'm willing to spend the extra for a name change to keep the "Legacy" tag but I didn't want to spend that extra on a name change if I was gonna lose it anyway. I mean, I guess that tag doesn't really have any value by any means, but I think it's kinda cool.
