Yup, that's right! I did it... I decorated my tree. I remember doing the same thing two years ago, but my tree was much nicer shrug

What are you guys doing?

P.S. I won't light my tree until after Remembrance Day.

Sometimes I decorate and sometimes I don't. As soon as Christmas is over, I take down my tree lol

Tradition in my house dictates Dec 1st I can decorate. But I start getting festive in the beginning of November. I'm enjoying the Sabbat in the meantime though.

I'm Canadian too so, I'm already beyond Thanksgiving. :D I got nothin' but winding myself up for a whole month!

My husband and I usually put up our tree on Black Friday. We don't go shopping because, just the day before you were thankful for everything you have and bam, next day, you must fight for a 50 inch TV. I love putting up the tree. We usually listen to Christmas music, drink wassail and after the tree is up we start getting wish lists from people to buy things for Christmas. It's sad when the tree has nothing under it, well, besides a sleeping kitty. I wanted to make a rainbow tree this year but my husband told me no. So this year it's red, gold, and silver.

We already had our Thanksgiving. I'm feeling very festive this year.

As soon as it hits November, I'm all about Christmas music.

Black Friday is the perfect day to set up your tree! It's too busy to be shopping. We have our Black Friday in Canada after Christmas (Boxing Day) and I don't go shopping. One year I went just to check it out and there were line ups just to get into a store in the mall.

lol.

This morning I noticed I missed a branch while putting my balls on. I thought, no one is going to come over and stare at the empty branch. I don't get company anyway :'c

It's pretty! I like the pink bow on top. Some houses and businesses in my town have started putting up their lights already...and turning them on. Although I think they're doing it to offset the shittiness that is the road construction on our main road through town. We probably won't get to have trees lit up on said main road this year because they cut them all down to widen the road and the baby ones they put in aren't big enough for lights yet. We usually do our decorating around Thanksgiving.

Last year my roommate and I didn't do anything "official." The closest to putting up a tree was a string of lights in a tree-shape. This year, though, my boyfriend and I will put up a small tree since it's our first year living together. We're not quite sure if we want to put up a real tree, or a fake one.

Real trees are a lot of work and the needles drop everywhere (and they pose a fire threat).

Please save the trees and get a fake one. <3 I'm a tree huger.

It's actually a white bow lol. It does look pink though.

I hate when people tear down trees. It makes me so sad.

Haha, hello again! I'm a bit of a horticulture nut so I know where you're coming from. Those trees take years to mature, but I never feel bad about buying one from a farm :p

BUT, because I do live in an apartment, a fake one is probably better. I just really like the smells <3
