hi guys,

I don't know if this is a bug or what. I've been trying to add an image for my forum posts, and it keeps telling me it's not a valid image. I'm giving it the URL like I'm supposed to. I have tried uploading it on imgur as well as photobucket. any suggestions?

You have to make sure you're giving an image. So the address should look like this:

http://stuff depending on where you have your image/IMAGENAME.jpg

or it could be .png or .gif

But the important part is that it end with .something. If that part is missing you don't have the real image address, just something the upload site uses to identify the image.

It is, and it still keeps giving me an error. :(

I'd try to tinyurl that.

Upload it to imgur, it seems to work best :)

I couldn't get it to work on imgur either. :(

I did the tinyurl and got http://tinyurl.com/j3zty2j . also didn't work. :(

what is the imgur url you're trying to use?

Your imgur link doesn't have a file extension on, select one that shows like jpg or png. Forum images won't support gifs on here right now but if you want a gif, put it in your sig. c: [edit]Dangit, typos that I didn't notice til I got up 12 hours later.

Woohoo, I got it. It doesn't look very good though. LOL

edit: ok it shows up on my dashboard but not on actual posts...what the heck :(

it's showing up now! it just takes a little bit for it to show up on your post because of the cache :)

ahh awesome! I need to get a prettier one. Yours looks nice. lol.
