I'm in search of a pet born in the year 1969. There was a glitch a while back that made this happen, and I am in desperate search for another one. If you can help me find one, I would be honored. If you have one, I can get you a name change so you can keep the name, and I am more than willing to do applications for the pet in question. I am a long time user, reworking all my pets to have new profiles, and am a multiple time spotlight winner. I will take great care of the pet for many years to come! Any help would be awesome!

or anyone else, sorry to bug in (hopefully I don't get a warning), I don't really understand how this ID/year works, Subeta wasn't alive yet in '69...Also I have to mention I am indeed a doof, suffering from dumbitis...

it was a glitch some years ago, where the creation date of some pets didn't get properly set and was instead set to the unix epoch date (well, one day before) because that's what happens when the date for something somehow resets to 0 - in computers, time is counted up from that "epoch date" so if something is accidentally set to 0, it will appear as Jan 1, 1970 in greenwich time, which in the western hemisphere is actually Dec 31, 1969. that's why sometimes you'll see an email that says it was sent on 12/31/69 even though it obviously wasn't.

It was a glitch that happened to pets during a certain time frame, it was simply never corrected in those that had already been created and left as a bit of an oddity. I only vaguely remember it. XD But it's sort of similar to how some of the first Zentu's were naturally genderless but that was corrected for future Zentus, yet they left those already made. And that's how she found the id range, as the range of numbers that covers the dates of the glitch, not the year 1969 (for example, Chiana's id is 624,454 and i created her on August 18th, 2008, so any id's close to hers would be close to that date). I assume she simply found a pet with that birthdate and looked at the ID, then worked around it until she found the "edges" of the range. ^.^

Good luck finding one, I've been hunting for another one myself. Saw a few in the AC this year and managed to get one, so they're still out there.
