Sigh, I would have made you one if the Merana quest wasn't gone. Its funny how no one ever wanted a hydrus pet when the quest was available xD If the quest ever comes back and I still have a space for a pet, I'd be more than happy to make a hydrus serpenth for you. Good luck for now!

The last event/plot ended with her being freed from the omen islands, so she left, and her quests to make hydrus pets left with her :c

I don't think anyone can give you a hydrus pet. When they leave the account they were made on they turn common. You have to get it for yourself.

afaik that only applies to transfer via pound. If you transfer the pet directly from one account to another (via pets.php) the color should stay.

Yes, the color definitely stays. I adopted Plankton from someone before I had access to the quest. I also transferred out "Chest" as a hydrus warador and they kept their color as well.

If you (or anyone in need) still need someone, I can make Hydrus pets... I dunno if it's only gifting once 30 days tough, but I'm always willing to help with this, and I always have room for pets as there is only 34 Wyllops / 35 Colors and I could have 37 pets.
