So my laptop died as some of you might know.. I'm waiting for my dad to help me find a hard drive to replace it, but in the mean time im using an old laptop.....and it suuuuuccckkkkssss...all it has is windows vista. The game i am used to playing needs windows 7 or higher. So I have been looking into 7 and boy those can be expensive, $107 for premium home upgrade. I have looked around and it seems that I cant find a reputable site to get it on. So I was looking into getting a new laptop. The thing is though if I do get a new one..is it possible for me to download windows 10 at all? or would it be the same problem and it would say you need windows 7 or 8?

You can download Windows 10. I have it. My brother installed it for me; however, the only problem with the download is that it doesn't come with all the features if you were to buy it outright in the store. I have a lock screen where I have to enter my username and password and I can't get rid of it because I don't have that feature.

I don't know why my dad set up my computer with a username and pw. I live alone and it's not like anyone else can access it.
