Its been a while since Ive been here for Alegarten, last time I know for sure the holiday shop was still a thing.

Is it the same as the Freyalise shop where theres limited stock (as in 5 of one item, 7 of another and so on) and its a pain to be able to get anything from it, or is it unlimited stock?

In the past, it has had unlimited stock but the items rotate... Each *shop stays open 10 hours with a 1 hour hour break in the morning to "do maintenance" until the end of the event... As far as I can recall, Food Haus has different food items, Geschenkboutique has wearables and non-edible items, and Gute Ale has alcoholic beverages. If you miss the shop with the items you want then you have to wait until the next time it's in the rotation. I don't remember there being a timer between purchases.

*Note: While they are called shops, they are all accessed in the same place.

Also, there has been a little bit of talk from staff about some plans, but I think that will be more related to the items rather than the format. I'm pretty sure they don't intend to make Alegarten revolve around a restocking shop.

Thanks for the info :D So it would be say...Food for 10 hours, alcohol for 10 hours and then clothes/non-food for 10 hours? Sounds a bit odd, but hey...Whatever works

I hope they don't make it a restocking shop...I wouldn't mind paying a bit more per item if it means I can get the things I Want (which is everything I dont have in my gallery).

Some of the items were mildly expensive (upwards of 300k-500k I think), but still purchasable with sP and not some special currency. I don't remember there being any items that were really expensive (like 1mil or more).

Several events used to focus on distributing items via the restocking shop called Holiday Shop, including Alegarten, but they've steadily moved away from that over the past few years. It would be a huge surprise to me if they moved back in that direction. :)

Does the Holiday Shop even exist anymore?

I think it's the shop that gets activated during the latter part of Luminaire for the free mystery items. (Or it may be that shop just uses the Holiday Shop's shop ID.) Other than that, no.

I think I remember the Free SHop from Luminaire last year...or maybe the year before? Got a few good things from there, and a lot of things to go into my gallery :)

the Free Shop is a different shop from the Holiday Shop. The Holiday Shop is permanently retired.

If it works this year like last year, which seems unlikely based on staff comment, then it works like this. All the shops that open at Spring Street are sP-only, have an unlimited supply of the items and there is a purchase delay. Up until last year it was a long time, like half hour? Anyways last year there was much less of a purchase delay so if you weren't normally awake when one of the shops was open you still had a chance of getting it yourself instead of having to negotiate a trade with a fellow cultmember from another part of the real world.

Anyways, this holiday is sP intensive the base prices for things is not small. If you want everything start saving!

And Im bad at saving...I already have some things in my gallery, but I imagine i'll still have to shell out a bunch of sP to get the stuff I want.

I COULD bust into the sP vouchers Ive been hoarding in y vault, but thats for random Luminaire purposes
