Officially, I'm pretty sure, now that it's October 1st! So exciting!!
For me this is always the best part of the year, it reminds me so much of my childhood and it just makes me happy. On my animal crossing new leaf game Jack visited me today, and I was very shocked lol! I can't wait to enjoy the holiday season in my game and in real life ^^
My friends and I are going to dress up as Naruto characters for Halloween, I'm going to be Tsunade hehehe...
Are you guys going to dress up ^^? And if you are, as what~? What are you going to do to celebrate the season? Let's talk holidays~ o3o

I love halloween but I don't do anything particular. I'll probably enjoy Morostide a lot as a way to make up for it ha ha.
I plan to dress up as a character but then that never happens...was going to do a Terminator and then never did the makeup so people thought I was Sarah Connor as I guess I have a look O.o
I love Halloween and I love to dress up, but I don't go anywhere. I'm plus size and I can never find a decent plus sized costume. They're pretty much non-existent in my city and Spirit Halloweens' sizes run small. I was considering ordering a costume from Spirit Halloween's website last year, so I said "screw it". Haven't bothered with Halloween in two years.
yay halloween! i bought a dino onesie like , so that's what i'm doing for halloween, lol. maybe going to a party that weekend.
I doubt I'll do anything. I have to work the evening of. Last year I made this whole Steampunk getup and I thought it was awesome and I wore it to work and no one got it. At most this year I'll either do a princess (wear an old formal dress) or a witch (just layer black and pop a hat on). I'm kind of done putting effort into it.
( guys, let's talk Halloween and holidays! 8D)
I definitely am a fan of Halloween. I just wish I did anything fun irl for it. :x I'll be like and just have morostide make up for it. xD On second thought, I might carve a pumpkin.
My absolute fave is Christmas though. November is just this unnecessary month wedged between October and December imo haha. :P
I absolutely encourage you ALL to still decorate your house even if you don't go anywhere. For the last couple years I've had late running classes on Halloween and being surrounded by 39847957 bat and pumpkin lights made snoring through a couple scary movies that much more fun.
Because this year it falls on a Monday I probably won't be doing anything special. I think this'll be my first year getting trick or treaters because I live in an apartment complex for the first time. Now the qestion is, how do I let all the childrens know that I DESPERATELY want to give them candy and see their costumes without making it look weird and child-snatchy?
wear a costume too. Put some kind of decoration on your door. Keep it short and simple - the kids just want to get to the next door for more candy ;)! And smile a lot! Don't forget a bowl of small change for the kids with unisef boxes if they still do that in your area.

thanks for the ping ^_^ i'm STOKED. i consider all of october to be halloween. still deciding on a costume though. unfortunately i don't have an extra cent to spend on decorations. i'm totes offended by what you said about november though, that's my birthday!! haha jk. i don't celebrate the ideals of thanksgiving (thanks taking) by any means, but i still use that time of month to go wild with cooking a ton of autumn things. i'm also not religious but my family and i celebrate a sort of "santa claus" christmas.
lol At least November babies aren't overshadowed by either holiday! ;D I will use the month to drink chai tea mmmmmmm.
Kind of bummed our grocery stores don't serve Halloween fun size chocolate bites. D: How is that not a thing?? Is only America good at Halloween? Come on, son. Disappointed. D:
ive got two halloween parties back to back, one im a co-host for~~ so im excited about that!!! halloween is the best holiday
ive probably got work on halloween but thats okay, my work wants to do something fun for it and might do a party. on top of that we can wear costumes and facepaint to work so its gonna be great!!!!
I'm not a huge fan of Halloween but I might dress up for work. My coworker wants me to dress up as Shrek as part of an ongoing joke between us but idk. XD I was also thinking of dressing up as a black cat even if that's a bit boring. A bat might be cute as well.
I guess I more go for cute spooky things.
I've been invited to a small Halloween gathering on the 22, but my GRE testing is for the 27th so there's a high chance I'll be studying then. I also have an assignment due on the 26th so if I haven't finished that I'll be working on that as well.
I LOVE Halloween, it's my favorite holiday! Likewise Morostide is my favorite Subeta holiday. I can't wait for it to begin. X3 I attend a local potluck every month and for October they always turn it into a costume party which is fun. I also like to go to Halloween themed pet events when I can: last year my dog won first place for his pirate costume. We were both pirates actually. I dressed up too because why not. XD Haven't decided what I'm going as this year. Wish I could still go trick or treating lmao! Aside from that I love scaring myself with paranormal shows and spooky movies in addition to watching the classics like Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas. It's tradition to watch those every year!
I LOVE Halloween! And Christmas. But I dont dress up IRL. I will dress up my HA in costumes but thats about it xD On the weekends I watch horror movies all day long and eat candy. c:
Hope I wont gain 324234 pounds before new years :p

I went to a thrift store today in a panic (2 weeks left) trying to make my mind up on what to dress up as for Halloween (work friendly comfortable too). So as I was aimlessly wandering back and forth through a Savers I found one of those bubble shirts in black, which was a hit in the 90s, bought a wig, and it evolved into a Lisa Frank themed outfit. For some reason I thought the Lisa Frank unicorns had purple hair when they're really rainbow. At least the wig maybe reusable later on then. I also ordered rainbow leopard tights tonight and I am currently making a unicorn headband piece (craft time!). More accessories and makeup to do. There was hoo-rah one day about everyone dressing up at work, and then last week everyone was like, mumble mumble blank stares at a mention of costumes and a potluck. No spirit man...
Can't wait for Morostide either :)
I work at a local haunt, so for 17 nights in October this year, I'm always dressed up. This year, I'm a burned and bloodied nurse.
