So, it's my birthday and i'm holding a giveaway board to celebrate. The big item will be a card given away along with: and probably some other things from Freya, since I have been parked in there for quite a while. =0) So yes, while many of the items WILL come from FTC, some of them shall not, if they found their way into my pirate booty chest, they're going to go out.

I may or may not go WL diving, depending on the errors. o.o Which right now are iiinsane. Feel free to mention a couple of items from Freyalise you'd to have specifically, so i can chuck them at you as I go. You can also mention if there is a sticker you'd like stuck to you so I can stick you too. XD

To enter: Share with me a funny or happy story about a birthday you had. Post! Easy peasy. (And it doesn't have to be a long story either. ) If you ping me, fine, if you don't ping me, i intend to read the whole board, so that's okay too. It's up to you.

My funny story is from years (and years and years) ago when I was about 5 or 6 years old :P I had a birthday party, and Mum was busy packing up the little goodie bags for the other kids to take home with them afterwards. Dad was keeping us occupied with 'pin the tail on the donkey' and one kid was being a right annoying brat. So Mum threatened him with having to do the washing up if he didn't behave.... the kid actually asked if he behaved, could he help with the washing up anyway, as he liked doing that o.O :P

My most remembered birthday was about 5 years ago. My husband came home from work and did the usual "how was your day" thing. I told him how my mom had called me and while talking to her my oldest daughter called. After finishing the call with my daughter I called my mom back and while talking to her that time my youngest daughter called. He was all "why were they all calling, what did they need". I just quietly told him they all wanted to tell me the same thing. He asked what it was so I told him "to say happy birthday". hahaha He did feel badly, and he should have! But I let him off the hook fairly quickly.

I don't want to overwhelm you with pings so I will just leave my story here for you to read. I have had many birthdays in the past, but one of the more memorable ones was on my 14th birthday. I had a sleepover at my friend's house. There were 5 of us in total that day but only 2 of us slept over my friend's house that night. We started the night playing video games, one of my girl friends went to bed at around midnight, but me and my other friend stayed up playing games until 2 am. At that point was when mxc came on so we started watching that for the next 3 hours. By then it was already 5 am so we figured we would just stay up at this point and played more video games. My friend who was sleeping woke up at this point and was surprised we were still playing video games. My friend's mom got us doughnuts and coffee for breakfast in the morning and that helped keep me awake because I had to go to church with my mom at 9 am. I was about halfway through the serum at church when it happened. Sleep deprived and loaded with sugar and caffeine, my heart started to race and would not stop. At the time I thought I was going collapse on the church. Looking back on it now I find it funny xD it was also one of the best times of my life, hanging out with my friends from childhood, going over to my friend's house and playing video games and walking to 7-11 to get Girl Scout cookies and slurpies.

One birthday I remember well was having all family with me when we went out for lunch and my two little nieces helped me blow out the candles on the cake then could not wait to eat my birthday cake :)

I have had many special birthdays in my many years, but a couple of years ago will always be my favorite memory. Some family members, including my over the top brother, took me down to the beach. It was just a nice quiet way to spend the day. On the way home, I said I'd like to stop at Trader Joe's. We all went in and when I was done and at the checkout, my brother announces to the clerk that today is my 71st birthday and then in his loudest voice, yells it out to the rest of the store. He then proceeds to start singing Happy Birthday and almost everyone in the store joined in. While I was a little embarrassed at the time, it will always be one of my fondest memories.

I have always been told I am a complete space cadet. My ex used to joke when we were married that if I ever got Alzheimer's Disease no one would notice. lol Anyway, of course there was a year that I forgot my own birthday. Working full-time, going to grad school, 2 small kids, the dogs had to go to the vet... Too many errands to run and too little time. Well, it was a hectic day! Ever get that feeling there was something you're supposed to do, but you can't think of it?

It wasn't until the next day when the bakery called to ask why the cake hadn't been picked up that we all remembered. XP

My happiest birthday was when we went to the Henry Doorly Zoo for my birthday and the Black Footed Cat had kittens. The black footed cat is small and adorable even when it is grown but the kittens are that much tinier and cuter. It was great!

If the errors are bad (like they are now) and you don't go wishlist diving the Freya items I would be most interested in would be the Privateer Dominos (especially Silver or Brown). I've had NO luck with the Freya shop; all the new Freya items I'm interested in are in my unsorted WL if that helps at all. And thank you for the chance at the CSC!

So interestingly, my birthday I found out is three days after my husband's and a day before his grandmothers. We have one big old party for all of us. His step mom is really good at making cakes and every year she makes us a special cake for our birthdays. Not only that his dad usually takes us out to eat and I love love love red lobster. Not to mention my birthday always hits around when endless shrimp is out. Eating all you can eat shrimp and enjoying my birthday with family is always a pleasure. Ever since my husband and I have been together I also take him to a brewery every year. A new one every year at that. It is always so much fun! The first time was kind of scary though because it was a bad part of town. The brewery was a blast but he was kind of worried I was going to kill him XD Brewery :D

Another birthday I enjoyed a while back. I got a group of my friends together and we went to Ikea. Now I don't know how many people love Ikea as much as I do but we went for breakfast, Swedish meatballs for the win! Shopped around and then had lunch. Then we went to the mall and goofed around and had Ihop for dinner! Another one of my favorite food places! Did I mention I love eating and food XD

My mom always made two cakes for my younger brother's birthday -- a "regular" two-layer round cake and a smaller single-layer square cake. She'd let me decorate the smaller one -- and though I had no facility with icing or decorating, I would definitely have an elaborate story about what the squiggle on the cake were supposed to represent (like, "That's the Six Million Dollar Man and his pet duck who has a bionic beak. They're fighting the bad guys and the duck can sneak up behind them because no one expects the beak to hurt so much!") My brother and I were on the same wavelength, so he'd get my stories even though they usually left my parents scratching their heads.
