So I kind of mostly stopped playing for a while. I did the 2013 event but I don't think I spent any of the points. Would it be worth buying something like or and trying to sell them? Or buy cheaper things that might sell more quickly? Don't want/need anything in particular, I'm just kinda of filling my bank vault with lots of sp.

The books are better. Buy tons of the books because they're consumable. :D

you could post in advertising to see if people want particular items so you can buy the requested item with points and they could then buy it from you with sp, at an agreed upon exchange rate.
