You can teach scrolls to your pets after reading books to them. Different scrolls require different amounts of AP, but they're great, because you can teach a strong scroll to a lower-tier pet as long as you read to them a lot, which can really make a difference in your battles. Your pet gets one AP point for every 16 books read to them.

When you have a scroll in your inventory, click it and choose the option to add it to your scroll library. Then go to the Battle Arena and click Scrolls in the top menu (it will be the second option). From there, you should have the option to create a new scroll set. You click the scroll you want and hit Edit Set or Save Set and then they will show up beside your weapon sets when you go to battle a challenger. You can make a default scroll set too so you don't have to keep selecting it.

Here's a complete scroll list if you ever want to look into them more. I usually use the A-Z spoiler to browse them all.

I also have a bunch of scrolls I don't need; they range from 1 AP to 6 AP each, so I can donate some if anyone would like, or if it's okay.

- The quickest way to explain and easiest way to think of scrolls is as another weapon. If you have time it's worth looking through 's thread on scrolls, I put the link in the OP. I'm not so good a battler so I just picked the ones that looked like they might do the most damage for the AP my pet had.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do any damage with a tier 1 pet? I want to help but I'm a new battler so I don't even know if I can do anything

- Have you checked out the link in the OP? It'll give you an idea of what you might want. It all depends on your AP not your tier.

- all mine are min tier 3 so I have no idea. Give it a poke and see if you can. Healing doesn't cost much and that way you'll know for sure ;)

my pet has an intelligence of almost 1500... so i've got lots of AP :p but I just don't really know which scrolls I should buy ^^;

- cool. I'm afraid I'm just an event battler so I don't really know what's good to have. If you want good advice hit up the battle forum. Other wise I say see what the biggest baddest scroll you can get is within your price range ;)

If anyone has any scrolls they think might be beneficial to a Tier 5 pet I would be so happy and any books are also welcome. if not if someone wouldn't mind chucking some food and toys this way id appreciate it. I am going broke on negating pylonics :/

Looks like I can do 44 damage per battle. That's something I guess lol!
