Hello students! We are continuing our founders celebration by doing a fun challenge in honor of Helga Hufflepuff! The most talented, loyal, hard-working, and inspiring witch in Hogwarts History!
This week's theme is Kitchen’s Mastery!
Your challenge this week is to create a human avatar sneaking into the kitchens or sneaking food out! Don’t get caught! Your friends and housemates depend on your provisions!
Some rules for this challenge: 1.) Hogwarts uniforms are accepted, but you may be creative with your outfit! 2.) Use any food items or kitchen backdrops that might resemble Hogwarts Kitchens. 3.) Remember be stealth! Professors and Prefects are always watching.
Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge rules and theme will be awarded 10 House Points!
This challenge will end on Monday, September 19 at 11:59PM.
Should I be a terrible person? I think I might just be a terrible person. Not that I wasn't already... <.<;

As a prefect, Paddy felt the best way to hide would be in plain sight, so to sneak into the kitchens, she dressed up in the most fruity outfit she could find - if all else fails, she could always bribe the other prefects with a spare piece of fruit.... right? :P

Paddy - Gryffindor

Magnus thought the best way to hide his food stash was to bewitch it to look like books and he simply got lost on the way back to his common room. He's burnt out from studying, so it happens...right?
Magnus Lee, Ravenclaw
Since Merlin is a prefect he had to use a house elf disguise to sneak some cookies and drinks for him and his friends waiting in the Slytherin Dungeon.

I AM SO CURIOUS /fingerdrums/
wicked grin I think I will. ^.^

"Ah, Professor! Filch sent me down here to serve detention, help out the elves a bit. Please excuse me, they've asked that I deliver this food now..."
-Jem, Gryffindor-
ping me when you post! (:

Garrett thought stealth was the best way to go about this. He has stuffed his book bag full of treats and drinks for his House Mates, but couldn't resist a cupcake and coffee for himself on the way out. 'Now remember Garrett,' he thought to himself 'you are a vampire, being stealthy is second nature to you, don't get caught...'
~Garrett, House Slytherin

Gwen isn't normally the 'rule breaker' type but she is having fun going all Ninja with this mission.
Is is equipped with her wand and a bag (this bag may have an Extension Charm on it - but you didn't hear it from me)
~ Fable, House Slytherin

With Fables ability to turn into an animagus, and the magical bag her fellow Slytherin helped make. Getting in and out of the kitchen is quite easy...once youve leapt enough times to effectively tickle the fruit...

Elizabeth has decided to go for the reliable outfit completely in black. She brought her wand with her to enchant the food, e.g. the cupcake on her head will turn into a witches hat when she gets spotted, making it seem like a joke article. Unfortunately, the giant s'more came to life but it doesn't seem to make noise, so she's fine with that.

(sorry I have no idea why the picture wasn't showing up firsthand, I've uploaded again and now it's working. )
I don't know if I will get credit for this or not, but it was too amusing not to use. Not too far from 's idea, but with a twist. This actually /is/ a house elf. Katsumi, and the bag she put her loot in, are both rendered essentially invisible with a Disillusionment charm. They blend in completely with what's behind them. ^.^

Katsumi of Ravenclaw

Mae used a Notice-Me-Not charm to bring back butterbeers to her fellow Ravenclaws, hopefully no one will see through it.
oopale, Ravenclaw
Kat - Gryffindor
Kat tried to act like part of the crew, she fit in quite well. In the meantime she happened to sneak a cupcake!
Sadie's got a bit of a sweet tooth...

... so she decided to sneak into the kitchens for a cupcake (or two). Perhaps dressing as a suit of armor and casting muffliato so no one would hear the armor creaking was overkill. The kitchens are very close to the Hufflepuff common room, after all!
don't know why you wouldn't get points for it! it's a clever idea, and a great deal more work involved in that vs. Harry's invisibility cloak. props!
Well, Harry's cloak was special -- and actually a few things could see through it, but it was far more effective than "normal" invisibility cloaks. I did think about going with that explanation, but I have zero reason for Katsumi to own one. ^.^;

Sneaking back from the kitchens(in the middle of the night) for some sweets. Makes sense to dress in black, to blend in with the shadows..
Can't help it if I want to have a bite of cookie on the way, no matter that the common room isn't that far!

Keliora enchanted a frame to hover in front of her as she edged along the walls of the castle back to Ravenclaw Tower, dragging her many bags of pilfered sweets from the kitchens. If she heard anyone approaching, she conjured the background of a portrait and a old-time filter to try to blend in with all of the other portraits lining the halls.
