D: why would they do that

They took it down what last year or the year before? Basically they felt the rich were getting richer with all the interest, that it was only doing certain people any real good.

Kind of a silly reason considering anyone can get rich on here by vending :V

It was pumping out sP for basically doing nothing and promoted sP hoarding. It also contributed to sP devaluing/inflation so removing it was to help with the value of sP

Still, I don't like it that they've taken it away. Perhaps it will return one day.

Since vending is limited to 250 vends for normal accounts and 500 for gold accounts and they only give out normal and below rarity(other than OD) it isn't particularly profitable anymore.

Especially now that they nerfed quest rewards too

maybe this was true about quests back when, but no longer quests are the most profitable thing now.

What's considered the best way to profit now? I only know that I used to vend and do quests.

I have a gold account so I can do fifteen quests per quest grantor. I do them all, and I make anywhere from 4 to 6MsP, and the items I get from them earn me another 1 to 2MsP. This is the most sP-per-unit-time intensive way to make sP IMO.

Restocking has been changed so now items that nobody has bought retire for a short time, and certain other items show up more often. Also when one shop restocks others also may. Restocking can score you more than quests, but it is more time intensive. OTOH you could (if you wanted to) do it until the cows come home while quests are limited.
